AMD Driver still crashing in DX9

Changed game to DX9, crashes still happenning, always when I'm about to drop out of warp near a gate while traveling.

Using Catalysts 13.11 on hd5850 in windows 7 64bit.

Same problem. I updated my catalyst drivers to 13.12 and I am running a HD 6850. Windows 7 64 Bit.

Just had my 3rd crash in under an hour. Last 2, I crash, restart the game, relog, my ship warps back to gate and CRASHES AGAIN.

Are you all running more than one client?

Asking as this was happening to another player in game who also was using DX9 I told them to try using just one client and that seemed to stop it happening. Not a real ideal solution I know. What?

* EDIT * They are using an NVidia card though.

I am having the same problem too, and yes I am running multiple client (4).

It's not playable at all.

It also crashes when I only use 1 client.

same here, constant freezing on warp, no error message, sound still plays.

one client only, 3 screen eyefinity tho.

not happy, just froze few secs away from a low sec gate with ships on dscan Oops

everthing worked fine, then after maybe playing for 2-3 h gate crashed and i had a pop up in windows saying win32 error something.
Ugh

amd here too, and using win 7 32 bit.

also have crashes now, also when leaving warp / closing in on gates

win 7 64 bit, radeon 7950 hd, 13.12 catalyst

changing to dx9 doesnt solve the issue.

im getting a windows error message that the driver was reinstalled after a hardware freeze - Oo

seems eve r1.1 totally screws the amd driver up - or the other way around
other games like crysis 3 run fine, no problems at all, so its eve it seems

I cant play with one of my characters now because it keeps crashing as I approach the POS.

I was having this issue - I turned shaders from high to low, and it has not recurred.

I can confirm the issue happens using :
AMD Catalyst 13.11
AMD Catalyyst 13.12

Using DX9
Eve settings set to "Performance" and then manually set anything that was High to Low.


Visual C error reports that exefile.exe has crashed.
Happens when loading grid while exiting warp.

Usually the crash happens after 2 to 3 warps.
Crashes have happened at the Sun, Station and Stargate.

The crashing started after yesterdays micro-patch that fixed the standings overview in chat.
I performed multiple warps after the Rubicon 1.1 patch without any issues.

If it moves.... You obviously didn't kill it the first time.

just to make this one more interesting... i have this same problem but:
if i use my alt or any other char.. it does not happen...
if i use my char it will happen the second its in space.. and if i don't terminate it will actually give me a nice BSOD

specs: celeron 2.2ghz single , 3gb ram, nvidia 8200m G & w7 x64 ultimate

so it's not just amd.....

i'm really curious though how it is that this is character/account bound and not something that will happen to computer in question.

if it helps i could upload the minidump

Same issue with 6850 one client or 2 clients running, have cleared cache using 13-12 drivers turned v-sync on and switching to dx9 has stabilised somewhat but also alt tabbing to external web browser causes a delay in switching but hasn't crashed as of yet

I didnt see any issues until this downloading the latest patch (01/30). I see flickering in the windows when Im docked. Didnt try undocking.

Interesting to note that when I updated to Rubicon 1.1 on Tuesday night, I didnt see any issues following 1.1 upgrade. I wonder if its changes in the patches since 1.1 that are causing these issues.

Same thing is happening to me with HD 6900. I just turned down the shader to low and I was able to log back in without crashing...for now.

Yes same issue here

AMD CPU, 6850, running latest drivers, Win 7 64bit, Graphics drivers crash.

Same boat here. First with a 6850 that had been getting a little flaky, now a r9 270x. Its rather annoying.
