Hi,

Just downloaded the 1.08 GB update and now the game keeps freezing every 5 minutes. Just thought I'd put this out to see if anyone else is having this issue and if there's a fix in the works. Thanks.

Windows 7
AMD FX-6100 Hexacore
8 GB of RAM
AMD Radeon 7870 1024MB 1.2 GHz

Run the client in windowed mode. When your client freezes you will see a Windows popup that says "AMD Radeon has recovered from a fatal crash". Other people are getting it. CCP botched the client for AMD cards.

In the launcher settings(gear icon), switch your DirectX version to DX9 which alleviates the crashes but doesn't remove them completely. You can run the client in full screen if you want after changing it.

yep... I've tried that and you're right. It still happens but not as much. I've been running it in fixed windowed mode so I can use my other monitor for whatever else I want to do on the computer like eve HQ or just web surfing. I haven't seen the Radeon message but I'll just stand by until they come up with a fix.

how many clients are you running?



I only run one client but as I mentioned above I might be doing other things like web browsing or fit testing on the side while playing.
