After much reading and enjoyment I'll be submitting my first story to this thread, a tale of friendship and crushing betrayal. It's rather poorly written compared to some of the stories on here, though I did my best and hopefully my next will be better.

I was having a pretty dull day, locating and exterminating the dangerous invasive species that is the mobile tractor unit when, all of a sudden a message pops up in local, asking if anyone needed an extra pilot for sleeper sites. Immediately I thought it was a trap, having assembled similar traps when Apocrypha went live, however, due to the lack of space junk to clean up I guessed it was worth investigating. I put a wave in local and quickly opened up a conversation with the suspiciously helpful man, letting him know that my corp and I would welcome his help in wormhole as we were having trouble killing the sleepers ourselves. The happy helper quickly tells me of his new Proteus class modular cruiser and posts his fitting in chat. By this point I was almost certain that it was a trap, the man had faction blasters, deadspace EANM, faction magstabs and other pinata modules, something that would be extremely tempting for anyone to kill, a single white whale can lead many a man on a hunt that ultimately leads to their self-destruction, today I thought I would be that man. I was informed that he would have to go for anything from a few hours, to a few days, citing a military career as the cause of this extremely odd estimate. He left chat after promising me he'd return to help me.
Two hours passed and he contacted me again, informing me that he had a few hours left, I quickly contacted a corpmate and asked him to come along, two battleships for the prospect of a proteus kill, even if it was a trap the prospect of killing a proteus lured me in on this dull day. While I probed for a suitable wormhole on my alt I entertained him with entirely false stories of my anti-pirate escapades, my carebear rescue missions and my merciless podding of anyone with a sec status of -5, thankfully my stint of plexing in November and December had raised my sec status to almost total carebear levels.
When I had finally found a nice quiet wormhole with a long warp to the furthest celestial I linked my megathron fitting in chat, having removed my warp scrambler and fitted a second web, to hold the fast sleepers in place for our fearsome blasters. My corpmate moved into position at a safespot between the wormhole and the furthest celestial. I'd told our mark we were starting off with some sleeper cruisers, to practice working as a team.
Lo and behold there didn't seem to be a trap, unless his friends had somehow managed to move to the wormhole beforehand and remain cloaked the whole time, an unlikely feat. I informed my newfound friend to jump to the wormhole, then I would warp the fleet to the sleeper site, which he did without raising a single concern or suspicion. Once in warp and within directional scan range of the other battleship the proteus pilot cloaked, not as dumb as I thought he was, although the cloaking attempt proved futile due to his extreme misfortune of landing less than 1km from me, our interceptor had him tackled in less than a second, our geddon sucked his cap dry in one cycle of his neuts, despite all his fancy fittings his proteus pilot melted faster than ice cream in the desert, he didn't even get a single shot off. His pod entered warp immediately.

He sent me two mails, the first one informing me that I should have fun with my new 700m bounty, which made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
The second mail read as follows:
Regardless, thanks for giving me awesome time on deployment, while I'm away from friends and family for months on end and just looking for a good time. Thanks for helping me serve this thankless country.

I guess you could call it poetic justice, a man who makes his living by murdering the citizens of poor, ill-equipped nations using his superior manpower and technology as well as lies and deceit just had a taste of his own medicine.

I got my first bucket of tears today, well my first bucket since returning from hiatus anyway.
As usual I was doing my civic duty by probing down and aggressively removing every mobile litter unit I could find, today was an alright day for PvP, however yesterday was better. Funnily enough the tears came from someone who had only lost their mobile pseudo-botting unit, they did not try to defend it, despite the fact that his T2 fitted autocannon myrmidon would have melted my vexor like butter in a microwave. Much to my delight, after a tactical bump to stop him pulling in his MTU before it popped, local started to blink. I figured I may as well do a little roleplaying; chat-logs are as-follows:
[03:06:56]1> Sniper Wolf18 ruining other people's days gets your rocks off, I get it. You're just an *******.
[03:08:12] Sniper Wolf18 > Littering in space is a crime, maybe next time you'll obey the law
[03:08:27] 1 > Stealing other people's stuff is a **** move *******
[03:08:47] Sniper Wolf18 > I was not stealing, I was cleaning
[03:08:56] 1 > You stole my MTU.
[03:09:01] Sniper Wolf18 > No, I cleaned it up
[03:09:03] 1 > You're an *******.
[03:09:21] 2 > now children...
[03:09:26] Sniper Wolf18 > What if that MTU malfunctioned and sucked in some newbie's velator? What would you tell his family?
[03:09:43] Sniper Wolf18 > "I just wanted moar ISK"
[03:09:59]1 > I don't have millions of isk. I mined high-sec for a month and quit, just came back. Now I can't even mission because an ******* steals my stuff so it's not worth it.
[03:10:24] Sniper Wolf18 > Well maybe next time you'll think twice about littering
[03:10:34] 1 > There was no litter, moron.
[03:10:42] 1 > I have a Catalyst for salvaging.
[03:10:52] 1 > You're just an *******.
[03:11:25] Sniper Wolf18 > And you're just an ill mannered litterbug
[03:11:36] 1 > Ill mannered to assholes.
[03:12:28] Sniper Wolf18 > I'm here day and night cleaning up people's trash and they're not even grateful. A little thanks would be nice. You didn't even have a permit for that MTU.
[03:12:39] 1 > Here day and night stealing people's stuff. I get it.
[03:13:14] 3 > keep up the good work Sniper Wolf18. The stars know the less MTUs cluttering dscan, the better.
[03:13:19] Sniper Wolf18 > Here day and night providing an invaluable service to new eden, what have you been doing to help and serve the public?

[03:14:20] 1 > Keep up the trolling, 3 , you'll matter to me once you're thieving my stuff.
[03:14:23] Sniper Wolf18 > I bet some of them even have children
[03:16:11] Sniper Wolf18 > Trolling? 3 was giving recognition to an overworked and underpaid space-janitor.

[03:27:53] 1 > [03:20:47] 5 > bloody hell man, give it a rest

I was asked, I'm going to comply. You want to chat, I don't have the charge turned on.
[03:28:29] Sniper Wolf18 > Probably the first sensible thing you've said all day. Flysafe \o

I don't know what it is with these mission runners, but they seem to take any form of interaction with other players as a personal vendetta against them and that the person doing it must be a horrible person IRL. I guess they must be overly obsessed with making the absolute maximum profit in everything they do, anybody stopping them from doing it must be angrily berated. I suppose that says something about their character, unless they're just really good at RPing

Heh. Yeah, thats true. When I was deployed to Manas AB, Krgystan... I had internet... but it still wasnt enough to play an MMO on ( hence the reason I quit for months at a time). Who knows nowadays though..

No tears for this story, I've collected plenty, but none are C&P worthy, this is a story about the little Vexor that could.

I've been reading through this thread while on the bus and when doing stuff that doesn't require my full attention and the posts that stood out the most and gave me the most inspiration were the ones of people going up against terrible odds and kicking ass anyway, after reading these I figured I'd trade my Deimos in for a Vexor, this was a brilliant decision, from now on I'll probably keep my Deimos for when it's really needed, rather than using it to kill ships that it greatly outguns.

Now, let me explain a little about this Vexor I fly, it does 630DPS, 690 with the guns hot. It also has a burst tank of 350DPS, 440 with both reppers hot, this is almost as much DPS as a Deimos, the tank is about half as good. It has no faction, deadspace or other shiny fittings, the rigs are T1, total cost is approximately 30m. For a ship that's nearly as good as a Deimos at a tenth of the cost, the Vexor is one mean little ship.
I've been using it for entering missions that I've probed down and cleaning up people's litter with it, apparently this makes some people rather angry, they usually try to blow me up, after all, it's only a Vexor, what could it do against a bigger and better battlecruiser or battleship? Well, one Raven pilot learned exactly what it could do.

I'd warped to this pilot's mission before, but went to a Megathron's mission instead, I can get under a Megathron's railguns, whereas missiles always hit. The Mega wasn't taking the bait however, so I decided to go for the raven instead. Warping into the second pocket of his deadspace I found him 50km off my starboard bow, I hoped he was cruise fitted as I figured that they would leave less of a dent than a rapid heavy missile launcher. After helping myself to a few of his wrecks he decided to pick a fight with me, his drones on attack, flying at me at a few thousand m/s, missiles hitting me shortly afterword, punching right through my shields and putting me into armor.
Microwarp drive on I barreled towards him at 1300m/s, missiles hitting me now for even more damage. I popped a cap booster and turned on both reppers, which put me back up to full armor after losing almost half from two volleys. Once I'd gotten into tackle range I shut off my MWD, his missiles were hitting for less damage now and I could pulse my ancil while running my primary armor repper. Both my blasters and drones on him he started to take shield damage, he was dropping but his shield was holding at 33%, He'd reached his peak recharge and that passive was helping his active enough to tank me, but only just. Cap booster reloading and half my nanite paste gone; I couldn't run more than one repper at a time so my armor started to drop. Backed into a corner with nothing else to do I removed the heat safeties on my blasters, as the heat built up his shield tank broke. I quickly turned the heat safeties back on, hoping that the residual heat wouldn't burn my guns out entirely. Cap boosters reloaded, I repped myself back up to full armor, but he was hitting harder now too, unsure whether he'd changed missile types, or he'd overheated his own launchers I overloaded my reppers, which brought my armor back up to full, while his was melting fast. As I punched into his structure my cap was dry and the booster was on another reload cycle, my ancil had just ran out of paste, the bright blue flash that told of his warp core breach came not a minute too soon, with 25% of my own armor remaining I made a futile attempt to grab his capsule, even if I had locked him before he warped I wouldn't have had the capacitor to tackle it, instead I gave a wave and 'gf' in local. I was greeted with a wave of his own and 'samn son' which I assumed to be "damn son".

Checking his killmail I was astounded to see that he did indeed have rapid heavy missile launchers, his fitting wasn't too bad either. This has got to be my all-time favourite solo fight I've ever had, much better than my risk-free HAC blaps. I encourage anyone who is used to flying shiny ships in PvP to downgrade and see how much they enjoy it.

Edited to be a little less wall-of-text-y

Second edit: The damage on the killmail makes it look like the rats did most of the damage in that fight, however there was only one left when I came into his mission and I'm pretty sure it aggressed me (Great AI, shooting the person helping you). He was at 100% (or close to 100%) shield when he fired at me.

Just realised why this guy was so butthurt, upon checking my wallet today I noticed that I had an extra 350m in my wallet, upon looking through my history it seems this pilot made a kind donation, one that I can assume was meant for my bounty, I guess he clicked the wrong button, so I decided to send him a congratulatory eve-mail. I've not since received a reply, but hopefully he's not ragequit and I will receive a reply. The mail I sent him is as follows:
From: Sniper Wolf18

To: [redacted] ,

Thanks for the ISK bro, just noticed you made a 350m donation. You are my bestest best friend ever! Sorry about your MTU, I could buy you another if you want? I've got plenty of ISK.

In other news we killed a wartarget myrmidon today, his fit was nothing special and he did decide to fight back (which prevented him from jumping back out), so, being the courteous soul that I am, I posted gf in local. Chatlogs are as follows:

Sniper Wolf18 > gf
WT - 1> shut up dipshit
Sniper Wolf18 > Haha
Sniper Wolf18 > Butthurt much?
WT - 1 > no life much?
Sniper Wolf18 > Wow, it's just a game bro, calm down.
WT - 1 > go play ur little pvp game to nullsec then?
Sniper Wolf18 > Why on earth would I do that?
WT - 1 > guess you can expect it from a coward as you
Sniper Wolf18 > I'm getting plenty of PvP here
After this I jumped out of local, so I convoed him to continue
Sniper Wolf18 > So, have you ever been to nullsec?
WT - 1 > ofc dipshit

After that he ragequ.... um, used his superior nullsec tactics and logic to titan bridge out of private chat

Now, I checked his corp history and his killboard and saw no kills in null, nor had he got any history in nullsec, I assumed he was bullshitting. However, approximately one hour later my co-ceo got a convo from a -A- member of Blackwater Swat. This specific member had only been in corp for a few months, he had no title, I doubt he was important. I may be wrong however and per his threats, should find out in roughly 24h

[00:33:59] Sniper Wolf18 > Taking an awful long time to log someone in, almost like you're convoing people and asking them to have a round of let's pretend.

After about half an hour of trying to 'log in his main' he left chat and logged off, I can only assume he was the member of (AnonymousCorp) who's Myrmidon we killed. I'd also like to point out that I was in a private convo with their CEO discussing terms of a ransom, their CEO said he'd prefer to fight instead of pay, this I respect, so I informed him that we'd ship down from T2 hulls and fly small T1 hulls, no bigger than cruisers if he is interested in GFs. We both aggreed that this would be some fun and I look forward to seeing them tomorrow, hopefully we can both have a bit of fun, so long as the rest of the members aren't sore losers (like the guy in the chatlogs above), or if they kick our ass, sore winners.

I have a snipet that I can post as I was attacked by pirates.
One of them refused to accept my convo.
The one other that did arrived to the conclusion that the loot wasn't worth the km (not kilometer).

Until I format it , I will leave it at that.

At least I found some use for baiting pirates.
