NO Advertisements in Char Selection scr.

The EVE launcher with its PLEX sale commercials spot is cool. It gets annoying popping up all self-important and refusing to stay minimized but oh well... other games launchers will do the same so i don't mind.

But seeing the same commercials in the character selection screen? Why? I mean.. i am already playing and paying the game, right? Do i really need to see the commercials when i choose my character?

If they didn't get in the way i might not care much but that is not the case. The advertisement line makes the character selection "boxes" smaller. The ship shape gets hidden at home PC (on a 23 inch screen with lots of space generally) and on laptop it gets even more squeezed than it was. As a paying costumer i would like to not see commercials everywhere since i don't like them in general and they tingle my nerves when in sight. What's next? In game popups? Don't turn our gameplay to Jita local everywhere

I bet its the EA guy's idea Pirate

I will admit i only looked in page one and not very well.. To my defense I was kinda pissed by the ads. Just had to post ASAP Oops

You people must spend an obscene amount of time in the Character Selection screen for this to bother you so much.

I just undocked for the first time and someone challenged me to a duel. Wat do?

+1, keep adds of the character select screen, or at least make them less obtrusive.

+1 for this being a very serious issue that needs to be fixed right away versus the actual bugs in 1.1 - I mean, forcing your eyeballs to see something you don't expect to see on the character selection screen is very serious business and I am sorry for your loss and discomfort.

Yea.

I call it an overreaction on your part.

There are those who purchase PLEX for additional ISK cashflow.

More PLEX sales = more cashflow for CCP = more cash for R&D and quality gaming contents = more compensated CCP employees = happy us.

Keep the ads in the launcher is all i am saying. i didnt say remove. And yes i am not fond of being spammed by commercials everywhere. All the new steam ppl are used to it i guess.

Bugs n stuff is a mistake that will be fixed eventualy. I am too used to Patchday bugs to complain before a week of patching has passed
