looking for a clear concise explanation of how to set dual client dual monitor up on Windows 7.

I have dual 27” monitors on Windows 7 64 bit
I've tried a mix of full screen and windowed settings with EVE and ether getting one screen opens the other minimizes or the other screen freezes (sometimes not right away). Ugh

Have done this successfully with an other MMO, so I know its not a hardware limitation.

I never use full screen with 2 screens
windowed mode works perfectly, win 7 - 64 bit
maybe check to update graphic drivers

Use Fixed Windowed Mode to do multi-client setups. It lets you have the 'fullscreen' look, but it's windowed so there's no hanging and flickering when you're changing between the windows.

Others have already said it, but I'm also using Fixed Window with 2 clients all the time and it works perfectly for me. From what you're saying it sounds like you're not running windowed mode.
