This is correct. I fear we may have made a huge tactical error. The mighty phoenix will rise from the wreckage and burn our empire to ash.

Dude you must have heard the age old saying " If you cant beat em......." many a time ? That battle is concrete proof that when push comes to shove Goons will prevail. I've whined before how null is stale and superpowers need to go all out in Titan wars to fish out the men from boys and it was certainly a huge leap in that direction.

GG all those who took part while us scrubs watched on twitch.

There's a Kugu post (I don't remember who said it and I cba to look for it, I think it might have been progodlegend) which basically said that we can't claim a win because we didn't kill **** fast enough for the numbers we had.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

To be fair, that's probably a fair call.
Especially if it was an actual bug that dropped sov you didn't 'win' by taking the sov. Because you didn't actually beat them, you took advantage of a bug and got lucky. If it was a long term sleeper agent, well done on winning via Meta, however that does kinda ruin the fight.
And the amount both sides lost kinda says no-one won.

But, Kudos to both sides, Especially to PL in this situation for fighting it out, and not just docking up/logging off and screaming to CCP to fix the sov bug, like they easily & fairly could have done. Big fights like this are awesome. Hopefully someone will come out with an accelerated video at some point that shows a decent number of DD's actually firing. (HED sped up that I saw cut pretty much all the DD's so you couldn't actually see the pretty lights).

If this battle leads to CFC breaking their traditional fear of super escalation, it is by far a strategic victory. Especially if they traded upwards in the # of supers.

No he said CFC can't claim victory because it wasn't just CFC, it was literally everyone in EVE not affiliated with N3 and PL who won.

Which I think is equally as irrelevant comment to make but you should at least try and be truthful.

Oh must have been after I x'd it closed then(or someone else entirely)

Anyone who thinks anyone won today other than industry guys is out to lunch anyway. CFC and Friends just lost less hard than N3/PL.

Let's face it, EVE won today.

Not to say that any group in particular didn't win today either, but that overall, EVE is the real winner.

That, and anyone with large tritanium stockpiles.

Hopefully loads of Plex will be sold to market now to raise ISK to replace losses driving Plex prices down to a more palatable level.

As an absolute Eve nobody, being part of the battle was fantastic. Cannot wait for more details to emerge. To all those that made it possible, including ccp, well done.

Pretty difficult to dock supers, although if you have a reliable method, we'd be interested to hear of it.

Also logging off in the middle of a fight isn't a good idea either.
