EVE Online: Rubicon 1.1 Feedback Thread

EVE Online: Rubicon 1.1 has now been released!

1.1 introduces the new Encounter Surveillance System; the Nestor, a Sisters of EVE Battleship; the Micro Jump Unit and the Mobile Scan Inhibitor, two brand new mobile structures; two variations of the Mobile Siphon Units; and a slew of other changes!

ESS is still a crap.
Increase bounty for 5% so we have our 100% again.
So we could stop crying (about nerfing) and would stop (would not start) using ESS as most of us would not care about this silly structure same as many do not care about new missile launchers for battleships (new missile launchers didn't nerf anything).

Given how rubbish the Nestor is, you really aren't missing out. Also, it's a drone ship really.

As per the majority of ignored feedback - ESS is a dumb option and should have been shot at birth - stop wasting time on **** like this and fix your basic performance problems/POS code/afk cloaking crap

The new reworked tutorial is great. It needs to have its own thread though.

Green line does not scale correctly at 90% screen resolution.

Tutorial 17 step 3 does not mention that if you use the stand alone Training Queue you must apply the skill before it is added to the queue. Apply button could be changed to "Add to Queue." for consistency purposes.

Issue with the switch over to career agents: New tutorial never gives the player a civilian mining laser even though it says it will. Business track requires the player to remember that going to a station without a ship creates a rookie ship with a mining laser attached before he can complete first real mission. Having a civilian mining laser given out at the end of the mining tutorial would work as well. The fact that the tutorial menu is talked about enough works in your favor now.

Am I the only one getting a flashback to Patch Days of Old? I'm talking about the Good Old Days when the client would crash repeatedly and bugs introduced with patches.

Well, at least with the Launcher we can now get our patches quicker.


Yeah, I know - this isn't a helpful post (or a post regarding a bug found)... Just a thought I'd share with you.

Thanks for the feedback, shall pass this on. The 90% scaling issue is a known one.

I been playing for almost 10 years now.. and I can honestly say the only thing that I really think made a difference for me is the pos's for sov that was changed... there has been nothing to me that is really game changing or meaningful.. its sad you know you think you would wanna try and make something that has some positive aspects.. seriously... its becoming stall and static... shame on you for your greed...

Getting a accumulative effect on the yellow other memory.

What specifically does that other memory number track. Evelopedia did not pull up a page explaining all the diff numbers shown in the monitor tool. A dev created offical page with that info would be nice.

I might have missed it however.
