Yes they should. But it doesn't matter none of the capitals in that system are leaving any time soon. That grid will be rapecaged for months.

Would be cool, but is unprecidented. Don't expect it to happen. N3PL and CFC will be tearing at each others' throats in this system for weeks yet.

CODE is just a bunch of pirates; smart, organized pirates. It doesn't help to rage at them because that is exactly what they want. Dust yourself off and get back on your feet, you don't even have to talk to them.

As soon as CCP starts delaying downtime for the sake of one fight in one small segment of the larger EVE community, how many others are going to start demanding the same for themselves?

DT will only be delayed depending on who is winning/losing...

people asking for a delay in dt are as clueless as people asking for a pvp arena, a nerf to highsec and for the moons to get reshuffled because that will fix null... uhm. forget that last one.

A delay in DT wouldn't have even accomplished anything. All hostile capitals had been obliterated about half an hour before DT, and we managed to get pretty much everything of ours out by 5 minutes prior.
