Hey all!

I'm thinking of skilling myself to be able to boost with T3s and Command ships so i can help my fleet in combat. I'm currently remapped for int/mem to knock off support skills and i was wondering if you could give me a few tips in what to train.

"T3's and Command ships" is such a broad range of skilling. And you are basically just starting out, so I would give my 2 cents of advice.

Pick a specific race or ship first
Use EveMon, start a skill plan there and load your chosen ship as a start point.
There should be 3 specific maps along the way.
Int/Mem
Perc/Will
Charisma/Will

A specific booster character should have the skills at V, but that is sort of subjective, depending who you ask.
Just the leaderships at V could take 4 to 6 months...That's a decision only you can make.
I recommend you get the ship up to par, and do the leaderships last, then decide how long you can stay in that map.

I also recommend that you train another ship along the way. Something you can fly daily and have fun/make isk/whatever in.
A good battle cruiser can fit links and still do other stuff in game. All the skills that apply to the BC will also help your command ship.

Stick with the map you have, as long as needed for now. Don't let the time frame discourage you. Find something fun along the way and keep picking away at your ultimate goal.

I'll never understand EVEboard passwords, let alone passwords on characters with 2m SP and no real skills.

You basically have a blank slate. There are many possible paths to the same destination.

You want nearly all skills under Leadership to 5, with the exception being the two mining skills.

You also want all the skills to get you into a Command Ship and / or a T3, plus core and fitting skills, and optionally offensive skills, and optionally other support role skills (example: probing, cyno, smartbomb, neuts, ECM / logistics / salvage / combat drones, anchoring bubbles, salvaging, etc.)

The primary boosting skills are:
* Ship skill: Command Ships or Strategic Cruiser Defensive Subsystem
* Cybernetics 5, to use a warfare mindlink
* Armor / Siege / Information / Skirmish Warfare - give flat 2%/level bonuses without links, level 5 required for links and Command Ships
* Armor / Siege / Information / Skirmish Warfare Link Specialist - level 1 required to use a link, level 5 to use a mindlink and to use a T2 link
* Warfare Link Specialist
* Leadership / Wing Commander / Fleet Commander - Leadership also gives a 2%/level targeting speed bonus

Armor / Siege / Information / Skirmish Warfare 4 skills make you a better-than-no-booster booster in any ship. To fit a link, you need at least a battlecruiser and then add Armor / Siege / Information / Skirmish Warfare Link Specialist 4. After that you can move into a command ship or T3, and get a mindlink.

I cannot use any warfare links or the mindlink, but in any ship I can still provide +8% armor, +8% shield, +8% targeting range, +8% agility, +10% targeting speed. My shadow is a proper shield and mining booster, and expanded from that.
