Yawn....and most of the Eve subscription base does not care.
This is NOT an amazing fight.

This is 2 sides blobbing away, racing to get their 100 billion ISK toys into a system, that if they lose, will be replaced tomorrow. It is comments like yours that demonstrate the inherent bias that a significant amount of CCP employees have, think null sec Eve = best Eve = ONLY Eve worth caring about.

BTW, what is Tidi at now?

Just 'cause *you* are not amused, we shoudl care about your sour grapes... Why?

The truest evidence of a weak ego (one in need of validation) is the need to speak for others rather than just one's self. You have no clue what most of the EVE subscription base wants or doesn't want, yet all the time you speak as if you are a spokesperson lol.

The fact is most EVE players are probably no where near like you

Thanks for the free analysis.

Looks fun. Tried to take an inty down there - buggy as all hell, entering systems at 1 million km from the gate, and all sorts of weird crap. Got to +2 from desto, jumped gate............ jump animation............ 5 minutes later I get ewarped to the gate and insta popped.

If this is so awesome, I would suggest that every marketing employee at CCP jump on the phone to every contact they have at every online gaming site, and beg them to link this twitch TV feed to their front pages.

I am on that twitch feed now.
Wow, does it ever look entertaining.
I am sure this picture of multi-coloured squares, and a series of ship names flashing every 3 or 4 seconds is, as one of your sycophants put it, "an amazing fight".

Looks like I hit a nerve :smug:. I don't think CCP contacts any of these papers either, a reporter looks and goes "holy **** that's amazing that can happen in a video game," then does a report on it. I don't see highsec inspiring any of those.

Compared to "all of those ships undocking and then warping with no risk or explosions ever occurring because of super magic goku police," it is an amazing event.

Yup. And nice to see that big expensive fights aren't always scripted in advance - that the Big Blobs can respond rapidly and violently to sudden surprises.

This is the good kinda fight - A meeting engagement caused by a little bit of happenstance, leading to a major mauling.

Look, if you want Space Invaders quality graphics, then CCP is going to have to charge more. A lot more.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Please......while a reporter may do a piece on how much stuff was blown up, there is ZERO chance they will discuss how exciting it was.

There is a "drop of pitch" experiment going on in Australia right now that is more interesting than this circle-jerk, between squalling brats spoiled by too much coddling by CCP.

A reporter found this to be exciting and interesting. While I agree experimental science is far more interesting than EVE, suck it non-scientists, that has nothing to do with highsec being so worthless and unimportant that it cannot interest real life news agencies.

Imagine if resources were finite instead of respawning every day. Then and only then would these battles be truly impressive because we'd know that when a titan goes down, it's truly gone - forever.

Until the day comes that resources are finite, then "brats" is pretty accurate. It's like a 5 year old screaming about something that is very important to him, but you don't want a tantrum so we're like "yeah, cool. That's OK kid. Whatever."

Can anyone confirm numbers committed to grid?

Heard CFC have around 70 and N3/PL around 30 titans committed currently?

With the ability to get anyone new onto the grid pretty tightly limited it seems the fight will probably go the way of whoever has the most assets down already, unless the node gives up.

This is not a forum alt, this is a forum main.
