I don't know, but I am so glad to have you back. When you left it was like my heart had an empty spot.. and then it doubled.

SCAM Artist.

Alright, I am honest. It is true that sometimes Erotica 1 is legit and does multiply your isk.
However sometimes Erotica 1 decides to get greedy and will keep your money for some reason like:
Every 100th player must play bonus round which includes giving away all your assets to multiple people.
Cannot find your donation because it was lost in the mutiple pages of 0.1 isk donations.

In short, play at your own risk.
If you Google 'Erotica 1 scam', you will find quite a few people who have been suckered.

People still fall for this ****? Are you kidding me? All I see is in this thread is scammers, people posting obvious photo-shopped crap, and first class idiots who continue to fall for this scam.

Really if you lost all your isk to him, good for you. You deserve everything you get. If you are really this gullible I have some swamp land I want to sell you in Florida, and I hear the Brooklyn Bridge is for sale again >.>

Anyone want to prove me wrong that doesn't involve obvious alts claiming to have gotten large amounts of isk doubled, or photo-shopped screen shots, by all means prove me wrong. But while playing this game I follow the 2 golden rules... Everyone is out to screw you, and Don't trust anyone you cant punch in the face IRL.
Apply the damn rules equally >.>

I could not punch RAW23 in the face IRL yet I entered into a loan agreement with him/her/it that involved trust on my behalf. I did so because I recognise that betraying me would cost RAW23 future business, more than he/she could make by running off with the collateral and screwing me that way.

That's because I did a risk assessment that RAW23's integrity is worth more to his/her business than the value of defaulting on my loan.

Erotica 1's reputation is similar. Ero makes a LOT of ISK from her reputation of honoring the rules of her game. Why would she default for a 1-2b gain?

What is it about you prude men of the internet that read the eula and consent to the terms of this game yet get bee in bonnet angsty and mash your keyboards about permissable mechanics ?

Erotica is legit.

Shame on any of you who suggest otherwise.

You can't even begin to compare this to a loan service business... This is more of a 'gambling game' then a 'business model' and everyone knows that 999 out of a 1000 'gambling games' in eve are scams. So you will have to excuse my skepticism.

Also why would someone use a known scam racket to model their 'business model' around if they are trying to make isk and perceive to be legit?

Also there is Erotica1's reputation on the forums that doesn't really promote a trustworthy atmosphere around this...

You are aware that RAW23 (to take the same example, again someone the community generally considers legit who I also trust) is also copying a model that has been used by many a scammer, right?

Someone can easily offer collateralized loans at low rates, demand excess collateral, then steal the collateral forfeiting the loan amount. This has been done time and time again, yet RAW23 is not suspected of doing this by anyone.

Ero is the same.

Of course, however - if you smell a rat, you do not need to take part. Your loss.

Ahhhhh being scammed is actually a good thing in EVE, it teaches you the lesson of 'Dont Trust Anyone'

Everything in EVE can be made a scam. From ISK doubling all the way down to your basic goons recruitment scam. Some activities are more targeted by scammers then others.

The fact that Ero is involved with code, which is nothing more then a protection racket scam pretty much says it all. I particularly target miners that have paid for a "mining permit" to prove this point.

How is a protection racket a scam?

Well, it would be a scam if CODE enforcers offered protection then didn't honor that promise and kept demanding more money, but that's not how we operate.

Funny, because no one from code comes in to blow up my catalyst or my alts catalyst when ganking 'complient' miners. How exactly are you providing them protection again?

Its a scam because your charging for a service you cant hope to provide.

Noone in the Minerbumping community claims we will protect people from attacks from people outside the New Order.

We will provide Code compliant miners with advice on how to protect themselves, of course.
