If anyone is still reading, I have a modification to the original post.

Make Cyno's NOT useable in Low sec above 0.3, otherwise there really is NO difference in low sec status. Also let me use BOMBS and BUBBLES anywhere caps can go!

So I don't mind a Supercap coming into a 0.3, but you gotta use a gate, no free hop in, allow me to track your motions and actually risk something to show up and fight me.

I agree, but I suspect CCP didn't see the pure madness of it until now.

It is consequence free without bubbles

None of you are bothered by too much balancing? I feel like there should be more distinction. If everything is the same it really does not sound like much fun at all. If I were one of the people that worked(or played) hard enough to have titans/sc's I would not like it one bit if they were turned into figureheads. I think it's more fun having to worry about what waits and what to look out for in low sec. I feel like there are already too many arbitrary restrictions in low sec that should be removed.

This is a valid point. I do believe that it would absolutely make conflict more of a push-towards-the-enemy than skirt around anywhere through lowsec. Far more choke points would emerge.

Can't wait to dual box my Dust toon and EVE toon on the same machine!

And you know how much much more "carebears" would not to be carebears no more if there is no supers in low???

truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Will we see goons now obliterate PL now that the supers are no longer invincible?

Probably not due to all the meta alliances blue balling each other cos they're too cowardly to start something big.

Dont know if someone has already said this but;

In low-sec;
Bombers cannot bomb
Dictors cannot bubble
Titans cannot DD

So it follows really that supers should not be able to deploy fighter bombers.

Let them deploy normal fighters, this would encourage more dreadnaught use for dps on field along with other dread buffs. While they would still be able to kick out some dps and an impressive rr chain.

This would also not interfere with null-sec logistics. Though i guess it would make moving supercap fleets through low-sec more risky.

I justify this due tot he fact that people in low sec cannot hold sov to make them and also do not have the safe space to bot the high end minerals to make them quickly.

Says the nameless forum-alt.

Post with your main or GTFO.

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

Never been killed by a supercap iirc, one fight that did always stand out for me though was this http://spdr.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=9996362

We dropped an archon into our massively outnumbered bait group (which was the plan), then caldari bat-phoned in some skunkworks dreads and carriers.

Our archon tanked the dreads, carriers and the enemy fleet for nearly an hour while we picked them apart. Their caps dead or self-destructed and will broken our archon went to rep someone stuck in the remaining enemy blob just as PL dropped 2 nyx and killed it in under 60 seconds lol. Since they were immune to our fleet we left. Overall victory though :)

Just a question of balance.

They came with the trump card for any situation. A card that we cannot simply bot for minerals and make in our own sov space.

Wow, look at all the generic, predictable-as-death-and-taxes Pathetic Legion canned responses. Is there a factory somewhere that stamps you lot out, you all look and sound so eerily similarUgh

And no, you won't:

Frigate PvP requires actual skill, a willingness to take risks, and not having Technetium handed to you by your dev-buddies at CCP, whilst those same buddies look the other way from all those...errrrm....very keen ratters out there.

It wasnt tech CCP handed them recently lol, It was 2 PLEX in even faction BS hull in tama.

Well at least CCP is doing something for the PLEX price, even if it is to the advantage of those that already get free isk.

It would be insane to drop supers on a group with more supers than you, since more supers has been the only real counter to supers.
Thats also the reason why the alliances that rely heavily on supers have clumped up, so there is no counter to them. PL and raiden spring to mind lol.

id happily take every sngle supercap out of the game, along with the game developers that allow moon mining and sov warfare in its current form to continue.
