Given that my megathrons have been tanking more than 100 maelstroms for years I would say its safe to say that a ship with EHP going into the millions is going to take a fair bit more to kill it. Two fleets are whats needed to be sure you remove a carrier. Meanwhile you are losing one mael every time the sentries fire plus to any subcaps means you need a huge amount of ships otherwise you simply just run out.

If we throw in 3 fleets we will kill a few carriers but will quickly get obliterated.

You understand that my alliance was crying because we weren't paying for their damn drones right, and that asking them to buy a second Carrier for the Chimera fleets you'd think i donkey punched somebodies mom, so buying that hardener set is probably like screwing their sister and putting the video of it up on Youporn.

In a nonshocker, our carrier pilots are also our subcap pilots, and having 2 billion in implants is fine and all, until you go out in a 200 man fleet and meet your 1k enemies on the field of battle. This usually ends up with you not having said implants anymore so no, we don't slave up our carriers, sorry to ruin the myth.

I wouldn't expect you to know what fighting without a 4times number advantage is though so I'll excuse your ignorance.

I take it you have not visited F&I where several changes are happening and CCP have stated more drone changes are on the way.
