Two clients on two monitors, or one big monitor

I currently run two clients on one small monitor and it is a pain, tired of alt-tabing between them. Looking for a upgrade, and was wondering if it would be better to go with two monitors, or one big monitor? Desk space is kind of a issue so two giant monitors is not a option. I have found a good deal on a 27" that I might get for a single monitor setup. Looking for opinions on what other players are doing.

Option A: Buy two new matching monitors and run one client on each monitor.

Option B: Buy one big monitor and run the two clients in window mode, sized down enough that I can have them both in view at the same time.

Yea what he said, I run three as well and I use a 24 inch monitor - havent had any issues.

I've run up to five at the same time (not paying much attention, but yeah) at the same time on a 24" monitor. I have two monitors, but the second is for trolling the EVE-O forums. Just use windowed mode on all of them and the switching time is instant. Even more entertaining, is that if you have Windows 7 and you hover your mouse over the EVE icon, you can see all the screens at the same time doing whatever it is that they do.

I run two monitors. A 22 inch for my primary activity and a 19 inch for my secondary. The secondary flips between forums, e-mail and usually a passive type of EVE task. Unfortunately I've lost a few ships that way Sad But I'm also terribad at splitting my attention; so ...

Dual monitors are always superior. You'd be amazed.

I have a 30" and a 22" but even a pair of 22" is incredibly powerful compared to a single larger one.

If you go dual I suggest you look into a program called Ultramon and its independent taskbars.

Once you have dual monitors, you will never go back to a single. Be warned.

I agree with this statement. Two monitors, even much smaller ones are superior to one large one.

On the primary machine, I run a pair of 22" widescreens stacked vertically. The primary account runs at 1600x900 in a window on the lower and the 2 secondary accounts run at 1024x768 in the upper window (small amount of overlap).

If I'm feeling really masochistic, I'll run (4) accounts all using 1024x768 windows. Two on the lower, two on the upper. Or I'll fire up the laptop and run one of the instances over there (linked with Synergy).
