Quote:
Cargo containers and wrecks are considered valid property just like drones and ships. If you damage either, you are initiating aggression on its owner. If you are not in their corporation, or otherwise allowed to legally engage, then you should be ready for a security hit and Concord intervention.

MTU's:
- Can only be accessed by the person who deployed it
- Can only be scooped by the person who deployed it
- When destroyed shows a loss against the person who deployed it
- When attacked, the deployers drones automatically attack when set to aggressive. "Aggressive" drones only attack entities that initiate aggression on it's owner.

Therefore MTU's are clearly property (owned) by the person who deployed it.
Therefore CONCORD should intervene when an MTU is attacked, as you are initiating aggression on it's owner.

Fix please CCP thanks.

Better Living Through Mobile Structures

Attacking Mobile Structures is only punished with a suspect flag, even in high security space

MTU is not a container or a wreck.

The flipside of mobile structures being light, inexpensive and available to all is that they also need to be easily attacked. When a pilot shoots any of these four mobile structures, the most severe penalty they will ever receive is a crimewatch suspect flag, making them free targets for all other players for 15 minutes. CONCORD will never retaliate against a player for shooting these structures, and shooting them will never result in a security status loss. This means that Mobile Structures must be defended either by active pilots or by deploying away from the beaten path. The Mobile Depot does benefit from a special version of the reinforcement mechanic that allows a regularly active player to keep their Depot alive; more on that later.

Destroying any mobile structure will always provide a killmail and there is a chance of loot dropping from any mobile structure that has a cargo bay.

Don't take away my hobby.

Also, that wiki has a lot of out of date articles. I would not consider it authoritative source of CCP's policies.

You can steal wrecks and cans without CONCODORKEN. You can shoot MTU's without CONCODORKEN. Like wrecks and cans, you can shoot anybody who shoots your MTU.

I you do not feel comfortable with a current game mechanic, please feel free to write a serious, well worded proposal for changing aforementioned game mechanic and post it in the Features & Ideas Discussion part of the forum.
