So I was docked up last night, spinning my Cynabal in circles while waiting for the fleet to form-up, when I noticed something...

I had (4) 720mm Howitzer II's equipped to my my high slots, but on the ship there were (6) little turrets. Even if each module represented a pair of (2) turrets, that math wouldn't add up.

Afterwards, I noted the same discrepancies on other ships of mine, and it leads me to ask:

What's with that? Shocked
Is it just a simple design/rendering choice to make the ships look better by slapping more guns on it, or is there some actual unseen purpose/reason/logic for it?

Does anybody else with a slight twinge of OCD find this disturbing?


P.S.

The Cynabal looks like a cockroach, and is nearly as fast as one.

Turrets doesn't shoot through your ship, so there's more than one of a turret located on the hull. Depending on where it's placed it might not need that extra turret to avoid making it shoot yourself.

We all know that more guns = cooler as well so Cool

Also, Cockroach is way more powerful than Cynabal, near unkillable =(

If you let something orbit you as you shoot at them you'll notice it switch which guns fire on them Blink

Yep, guns switch fire depending on what side of your ship target is. It is nicely visible on BS with lazors, you will have rays of love coming out of left or right side of hull. But you would have to be closed up on your ship rather than just zoomed out completely to see your blob ball rolling :)

The new skin is disgusting tho,i cant even look at it without crying....the art designers of this game should be banished to iceland or something.
