camera problems

even now and then for unknown reasons my camera will zoom so far out you can barley see anything and it will not let me zoom back in and i need to restart to fix the problem.

is their a way to fix this without restarting? and is it happening to others?

Dock and undock?

CODE is just a bunch of pirates; smart, organized pirates. It doesn't help to rage at them because that is exactly what they want. Dust yourself off and get back on your feet, you don't even have to talk to them.

I petitioned this issue a week back, no reply as of yet. Seems to happen when I jump a gate, all of a sudden my camera is so far zoomed out I cant see the ship and scrolling/zooming does not work. It doesn't even look like the camera is centered on me at times.

Docking does not clear this, only a re-log.

You should try Sisi and see if your problems happen there too. There are some tweaks to camera movement and tracking ready for Rubicon 1.1 and last dev response confirms there are some WTF issues regarding zooms.

Guys, if your overview gets stuck saying "nothing found" and you JUST jumped and your "Field of View" seems really distorted when you move the camera around this sia desynch/disconnect issue.

What has happened is you have jumped through the gate, loaded the visuals for the system on the other side, and then DCed.

The game at this point has dropped you into a null void zone with the background of the destination system having not be properly mapped to the right perspective.

I don't that's it all actually, the overview is not the issue. The game still plays normally, you can dock, jump, lock, shoot etc just like normal except you can't zoom in and the field of view is warped so you cant see ****.

EDIT: ok re-read what you said, sounds like it might be part of the issue. CCP responded to the petition anyway to say they know about it and will be looking in to it soon.TM

Its weird because when i do rarely get a DC, its all the accounts, this is just one What?
