I read a blog post from someone else a few days ago saying almost the same thing as the sentence you quoted:

I'm sad to say that but...

If you only we could get rid of Fanfests so that announcments to be made after the 01/01 aren't kept on hold for months so that they have interesting things to say there.

They're removing local, cloaks require fuel, level 4 are all moved to lowsec and you can't shoot neutrals in highsec anymore.

I always like reading the stuff from the CSM, not for specifics, but for 'feelings about specifics'

When they say "Project A is totally NDA, but we are really excited about it" Then I get my hopes up, it might not be a feature for me, but at least its not a totally ******** feature.

When they say "Project B is totally NDA, there was a lot of lively discussion regarding this feature" I think crap, what dumb ass feature are they trying to force on us now.

Reading that blog entry was a waste of time.

In summary, it said "We spoke about stuff" and continued to tell how great this stuff is going to be. Or not. He cannot say after all.

Generally speaking those posts about summits are waste of pixels which could be better used for boobiez or kittiez or both. He could write "weather is fine, we had pizza for lunch, NDA" and result would be exactly the same.
