I don't know if that was aimed at me in a negative way.

But im sick fed up of these constant stupid posts.

Ive played Eve on and off for 3 years, never really got into the game until now. Found eve difficult due to its steep learning curve so its really taken me a while to give eve a proper shot.

But this constant whining about re-imbursement.

First lesson I learnt in eve was don't fly what I cant afford not to replace. Eve is unique unlike other MMO games out there, you die then that's it YOU LOSE EVERYTHING.

So common sense would say right, I will keep an up to date clone, keep a full set of backup implants and have at least 3 backup ships that may or may not be fully fitted, but make sure I have a backup.

I accept the fact that I can lose everything I own due to my own stupidity, or factors beyond my control such as internet connection or issues with the servers.

But the thing is, im prepared to venture into low and null and I accept I can lose everything in a second.

The constant posts about re-imbursement are nothing but whiney, self righteous, self entitled bullshit and people need to grow a pair and move on or just put the game down and take a break.

The constant complaining on the forums is sad, pathetic and pitiful.

You're not alone in your frustration. This thread will be locked again. Just read through it, think to yourself, "OP is whining", and move on. No need to get upset. We all know where this thing is going.

Real talk time.

Your FCs know exactly how to mitigate Time Dilation. They know that cyno'ing 1500 people into system spikes Time Dilation. They know that cyno'ing 1500 people onto a grid with 1500 people spikes the hell out of Time Dilation. They know that doing that while the system is already under duress is a recipe for disaster, because this is not the first time this has happened. They have proven tactics to prevent this sort of thing from happening. They also have a pretty good idea, after battles like 6-VDT, what the approximate cap of people the system can handle is.

They knew all that, and they still ordered a cyno onto grid of an immense fleet into an immense fleet, flattening the server under two huge, sudden demand for resources under a sustained load of over 3800 people in combat.

TiDi does not "fix lag." TiDi gives the server more time--up to 10x more time--to catch up to demand in order to prevent lag. If you push the server even beyond that boundary, then the lag monster comes back. So, you don't do that.

If you get into an argument with hardware, you will lose 100% of the time.

I wasn't even really aware that CCP was reimbursing ANYTHING until an issue like this happened. I just assumed that EvE Online was too hardcore for little piddly things like reimbursment. And I play as a Carebear.

Ye but still, why blame your leaders when you can blame CCP via NPC alts? Maybe it's time to ban NPC alts from GD as well as CAOD.

CCP is pretty inconsistent with their own rules. They recently reimbursed a supercarrier that bugged while attempting to jump out.

Reimbursing people who willingly jump into a massive clusterfuck, where they're expecting to lose ships and knowing full well that they'll overload the node by doing so, is just plain pants on head feeble minded.

But that was the plan: for them to jump a huge group of people into another huge group of people. When it has happened before the game has actually crashed, yet this time it did not. I, for one, am glad that their fighting didn't effect the game as much as it has in the past.

Now go out and make more ships to throw away by mass jumping into another huge group of people. Can't wait for the forum threads on the next fight Smile

This one time I jumped an Imicus in a wormhole and lost it because I didn't know they were so dangerous.

I expect a reimbursment too.

I just undocked for the first time and someone challenged me to a duel. Wat do?

All NPC forum alts who demand reimbursements should have wallets, SP and remaps all set negative for all characters on their account.

That SC died because of a BUG involving smartbombs, not lag.

OP, if you expect someone to negotiate, it's usually best not to threaten them. In your first thread, you threatened to destroy Amarr and Jita, mass unsubs and as much negative press as you could possibly generate. Luckily, you're no longer threatening your fellow players, but if you think your final paragraph about 'educational' videos meant to tarnish CCP's reputation and dissuade new players from trying EVE is going to get you anywhere, you're a hopeless cause.

I wasn't kidding about happily taking some of your stuff off of you and your friends' quitting hands. I've never asked for anyone's stuff before and judging solely from the level of discontent, this seemed like a great time to start. Now, I can't get any stuff if you don't ragequit, so I'm not going to be able to keep giving you sage advice unfortunately. So after this, I'm either going to ignore you (most likely) or troll you along with everyone else (not impossible.) Just stop writing these comments on the forum. They aren't doing you any favors. Writing in GD is not how you contact CCP. It's how you troll/harass/amuse other players.

Properly-formatted, intelligent idea proposals are submitted in F&I.

CCP has issued it's statement on HED-GP and I wouldn't expect them to reverse their decision. (If incessant whining got you somewhere, omg, it would never end.) You may disagree with their non-intervention policy, and when you're on the losing end of that stick, it may seem horribly unfair. But it's the most fair position they can adopt. No one wants CCP replacing some ships some days and not replacing them on others. Having a hands-off attitude is the best policy they can adopt.

You fell off your horse. It happens. Get back on it and start plotting a way to get revenge on your enemies in game and stop threatening the guys who had nothing to do with what happened to you.

All the same, CCP's reimbursement policy explicitly says that they don't reimburse in large fleet engagements for anything.
In that scenario they broke that policy.
It shouldn't have been reimbursed any more than our capitals in HED-GP.

Urrgs...
That one was lost due to an actual bug, not because some stupid carebears deliberately lagged a node.
