You are right to hit out, it would be unwise to change your environment to appease these attacks.

All of the advice you have been offered seems exactly wrong.

I believe your son will overcome any barriers to assist, he will be your strongest ally and hindering him could make him more frustrated, people may not understand his feelings as well as he senses others.

It can be easier to explode out, inducing an emotion, than to sit trying to explain it with a thousand feeling-less words.

Of course the situation seems much deeper than I can comprehend, and I believe you could have missed 90% of your aggressors from that list.

you are aware this is only a game yes ?

you are aware that while you are in other games they also are not real ?

protect your family from exactly what ?

do you really believe the idiot who's giving you grief has the balls to actualy take this to real life ?

I filed a petition with CCP as (in my opinion) someone going to the extent of going to other video games to seek retribution over negative consequences to his actions is disturbing and harassment. CCP then told me that there were no "real life threats" and they could do nothing. I then cancelled my accounts, uninstalled the client, changed the passwords, and asked CCP to cancel my accounts immediately. CCP then told me that they would not cancel my accounts immediately and that the actions I have taken should be sufficient to keep my son offline.
I did this for the protection of my son who is a high functioning teenage autistic. My son (as many autistic children are) is a technological genius; if he wants to get on EVE he can easily "hack" his way in. Keeping my son "in his box" per se is important to maintaining status quo.
When CCP would not cancel my acounts immediately or even give the young man who is harassing me and my family (in and out of EVE) a warning of some sort; I sent them a number of harassing messages through the petition in hopes of getting them to cancel the accounts immediately (I am simply trying to protect my son; I do not want to harass them, but sometimes "the squeaky wheel gets the oil"). I find it disheartening that CCP cares so little about this situation. I get that EVE is "hard and cold", and one of the reasons I play is the real risk you take in playing; I enjoy it. I however will not risk the well being of my son because a young man is holding a grudge and CCP will do nothing about it.
It is my hope through this post that either CCP will cancel my accounts or they will give this young man some kind of warning to the inappropriateness of his actions (in and out of EVE). If he wants to shoot me or my son in game; go for it. That is part of the game. Harassing me and my family is uncalled for though.
CCP, PLEASE DO SOMETHING! I do offer my sincere apology to GM Arcade for my inappropriate words yesterday; I am simply trying to protect my family. I would hope if you were in my shoes ou would do something similar.

I truly doubt that this guy is any real threat, i guess i didnt make myself clear. I think the OP is trolling and overreacting in his acting. Which was my point.

As you have an open petition dealing with this matter I will remove it from the forums so you can deal with it in provate with Customer Support. Other players have also given advice, such as adjusting CSPA charges, to deter getting future messages of this kind.
