Try flying something that doesn't require a CC to obtain. You'll have more fun in the long run. I honestly don't think the game is going to suffer from a lack of SC pilots, at least not mine.

Mittani or whatever his name is, should be banned, its simple as that...So should 99.99 percent of the goons for scamming noobs coming into the game.
CPP should really do something about this fellas.
Noobs pay to play your game, and you let scum of eve ruin the Eve experience.
That is bad for me, for CCP and the rest of the Eve community.
And for you goon forum spams, I really do not give a cows ass...speak your mind lol.

because the guys that got scammed out of supercapitals or ISK for supercapitals were newbies

and we jump on the opportunity to spend 30 minutes convincing a newbie to hand over his 5 million isk rather than spending 30 minutes convincing a dumb carebear to hand over 500M and his deadspace-fit faction ships

I could buy extra characters and supers, I have the isk for some... However I have a limited interest in doing the whole blob thing. Secondly I've been in blobs, and seen supers used in mass, and it just doesn't look like much fun.

I may get one some day for the heck of it, but suggesting that they are the "end game" is pretty dumb.

I have so much more fun in Omen or Rupture than you will ever have in your Nyx or Erebus , and spending time on game to have fun its all about

Now you mixed adrenaline rush of gamble when using your 2months of hard core grinding with fun... thats not fun... its just adrenaline rush.... you can get it IRL alot easier

Nerf is justified . Owning a supercap its not end of the game... its only the new start of the new type of gameplay.... And Battleships are not gunpowder... they are meybe for you .... But there are alot places in EvE where battleship is a lot more usefull than your beloved Nyx .

I hope you are aware that there are characters with 90 mil= of Sp and not even one Sp in capital skill right ? for 90 mil of sp you need how much years of training ?? again what is not fun for you doesnt mean its not fun for somebody else . Thats why this is a sandbox and you need to respect that other people with different taste got needs also and they are playing and paying this game also.

On the off-chance that this is not a blatant attempt at trolling; but really? ReALLY REAlly REALLY? EVE is all about profiteering off somebody else. By whichever measure you consider yourself to be "winning". It's not always sunshine and lollipops, but by the time you've managed to build up a 900 lbs gorilla like the Goons why wouldn't you be asking for free candy?

Even if you don't like them, surely you can respect their success?

P.S. If they ask you for payment to join; it's a scam. Seriously. Their recruitment page says so Lol

Where the OP goes off the track is that he is blubbing about how supercaps are the end-game and that by balancing them, the end-game is broken. That is pure nonsense. End-game is about content — a ship is not content; it's just a tool; it's the sand in the sandbox. The end-game is the castle or tunnel or canals or the complex freeway system you build with that sand. At best, the collection of different grains of sand might be seen as an end-game, but in that case, the individual grains are not particularly relevant so his QQing about them being balanced is silly anyway.

I started to read the OP, then laughed at the idiot writing it.

I probably could've stopped skilling at frigates and been just as happy in EVE.

I'd match the joy I had taking out a Stiletto, Thrasher and Taranis in my Malediction in one engagement to anything you've ever done in EVE. And, killing a Hurricane in a Vengeance...

Also, I've heard from quite a few people since fighter bombers were released that they were specifically skilling for SCs (MOMs to bittervets) simply because it -WAS- the flying IWIN button.

But, I am sorry that you feel the need to limit your EVE experience to the belief that there is such a thing as an "endgame". But, you put yourself in that box and then cry when the walls close in on you.

TL;DR: Don't blame CCP because of the way you play the game.
