Concord mechanics question

Can concord be in two places in the same system at the same time?

IE If concord is already in system, and someone else performs an illegal action off grid but in the same system, does the previously spawned concord despawn or warp off to the new location? Or does a separate group of concord spawn at the new location while the previous group stays put?

Tried finding answers online and didn't have any luck, everything just talks about response times....

If the first criminal has been dealt with and the new criminal triggers concord, then the same spawn will move to the location of the new criminal act.

If both criminal acts happen at the same time then two concord spawns will be created.

There is no limit to the number of spawns created. So if 20 criminal acts take place at the same time, 20 spawns will be created.

I've heard of ships being pulled away from gates with ganks elsewhere in system... myth or truth? If infinite spawns then false?

If the old spawns are not busy then this works.

If the old spawns are busy then a new CONCORD spawn will appear in system.

I *think* busy means actually warping to or shooting a red-carded player but it may extend a little after the red-carded player's ship pops.

On my roid roams, i usually find bears who drew concord to protect their evil rock pulverizing criminal acts, so i grab my alt A and shoot alt B somewere in the system. This removes concord off the roids were my future victims are at.

Unless there is a spawn big enough that a single alt cant draw away, usually on .5 system is 2 cruisers and a BS per aggressor.

This is my understanding too.

Something to note: If concord spawned at an earlier time, and is somewhere else in system, the response time for concord to arrive at the seen is increased by 6 seconds as the old concord spawn "warps to your location".

Thanks! So one additional question. If two criminal acts happen simultaneously at the same location, so two sets of concord ships spawn, then one criminal act occurs elsewhere afterwards, do BOTH sets of concord police go to the new location? Or does just one set warp off to deal with the single criminal?

Only the closest one does so.

This is why gank fleets will usually dock, get into rookie ships while still Crimewatch redcarded and all undock together. If they just spawned nine CONCORD fleets in an ice belt, that then moves all nine to the station.

If they are pulling concord to protect them while they are mining, than report them as that is a banable offense.

Yeah, no, that's bullshit.

There was a ruling about it somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it up.

I recall that as well. The issue wasn't moving Concord, the issue was using disposable alts to do it. The same reasoning is why using disposable alts to gank is considered an exploit. So continually cycling ganking alts is also seen as an exploit.

I want to see clear evidence of this too. Message the evidence to me, and also post it on the Minerbumping website forums.

Given how much CONCORD rules and a few other rules (insurance) have been set up to screw with both career gankers and newbies that accidentally shoot someone illegally in highsec, I'd be surprised (and delighted) if CCP made this ruling.
