If NASA can find it now in space why can't we find it in eve-online?

For years now I have enjoyed playing eve online! Why is it that we have not seen rouge planets with no suns, or able to scan down moving comets? or be able to find big belts in space? If NASA can find it now in space why can't we find it in eve? Here list of cool known stuff.

- Comets
- Super novas
- Belts of planets?
- black holes
- rouge planets.
- list goes on...

I find Black Holes all day long. Not saying I'm particularily happy about that, it's a ****** wormhole-effect.

Because those things do not exist within the game.

Or did you intend that as a rhetorical question as part of an idea? In that case, you are in the wrong forum section, as your ideas and suggestions need to go in FAID.

Super novae*

And why do we need rouge planets ? Do you know what "rouge" means?
Will this planet be occupied by rouge drones?

Can you even imagine how that would look ????

- Comets - Ice Belts.
- Super novas - Meh.. WH space has binary systems and cool star effects.
- Belts of planets? - Not sure NASA has ever found this type of phenomenon.
- black holes - http://www.deviantart.com/art/Singularity-Sphere-178959611
- rouge planets. Not worth the hassle or expense of putting star gates within their gravity well, the star gates would need constant re-calibration and unless the largest gates were used or the gates upgraded over time they would eventually move out of range of even the best star gate technology has to offer.

Some time ago a research corp I operated sent a proposal to concord on the possibility of reopening the eve gate by way of a black hole, man made of course. Through the collapse of the closest star and an array of super-gates interlocked in a ring between the resulting black hole and the eve gate.

The array would produce a cascade charge effect that could power a center gate of my own design (using some stolen Sansha and sleeper technologies) to stabilize our side of the eve gate enough to push through an endpoint gate and a team to collapse a star at the other end and build an endpoint black hole with a sister super-gate array.

It would be the first gate in eve history, at least recent and known history, capable of passing through capital ships.

Alas the proposal was ignored if even seen. My corp went bankrupt and all my designs were lost in a fire.

There are no comets in EVE. Comets are made of ice and rock. EVE has submarine physics, i.e. the galaxy is a bathtub full of water. Putting ice and rocks in a bathtub full of water simply gets you more water and some rocks.

As far as Rogue Planets go, please forgive CCP for being a bit behind in adopting this ingame, as they were unknown until about 2 months ago. Period.

Are we really at this level of useless whining ????

You know what else you won't find in New Eden? Death. Entropy. Red tape and bureaucracy. The speed of light. Etc. The real answer to your question of course is:

Because it's a game, silly.

Would rather Stable servers capable of playing host to massive fights without all the problems we currently face before more useless content that people will just ***** and moan about.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

If you weren't such a spoiled brat you'd see that even fights of 1000vs1000 are truly massive and actually playable!

Whiny little kid, go back to mama and tell her how mean CCP is for kicking you out of the sandbox!

edit: oh my, that was mean :/

I like this post. Let me think (turns on strip miner). Well, I think that with just that small list, all of that can be implimented. Comets could be used as a new/ altered ore. Mine the energy of a super nova. A belt of planets could give null more PI power. Don't know how to impliment a black hole, it kind of destroys everything and then who knows what happens to it. Rouge planets could be scanned down and should be rich with PI. All of this could benefit miners.

Pretty much all of that is in the game somewhere.

I believe there is a DED static site in a system with a comet in High Sec. (Can't remember the name, but it's close to Dodixie)

W-Space has the other features you are missing.

The only exception is the Rogue Planet... they would need to move to be "rogue" - not Rouge (red)... Unless you want a red planet. in that case there are plenty.

What about when Commander Benjamin Sisko discovered the founders homeworld. That was 20 years ago.
