From what we've figured out in alliance, it's all people using verizon fios...
but the tracert is showing the packet loss at eveonline-ic-138015-lbn.b3.c.telia.net. That happens to be the last jump before getting to ccp.cc servers. There's 100% packet loss for about 15 second sprees every 1-3 minutes CCP. So not sure what is causing the issue. Also, since we're getting blocked at the entrance, its blocking forums too when it goes down.

Having the same problem with my friend for the last couple hours.

Ankara, Turkey. So I don't think this is a specific ISP issue.

And there is confirmation that it is not just Verizon Fios customers. CCP, it looks like your ISP doesn't want you talking with your players. :)

Happening to me as well, Verizon FiOS on US East Coast.

Rookie (paid) player here 20 days old. Eve Online started out running great the first 10 days. A few days ago the "Socket Closed" pop-ups and crash started. SouthEast US, Time Warner. Hardwired ethernet not wifi. Ran the repair fixed nothing.

I am getting frustrated here. From a little research it seems this is not a new problem. Threads about Eve Online "Socket Closed" appear from 2009.

Same thing here.
Currently using Telstra as my ISP.

Run a constant ping to the eve server and a trace and I don't appear to be losing any packets...
