I am not sure this is a good idea. Loki's suffer from tracking issues in PvE because the sleepers don't attack at 1 specific range. I could be talking out of my @ss but I wouldn't try it myself.

Just the loki or all T3s? What about a Legion?

I only have 1 char, and want to solo in an armor loki.

how hard will it be only using 4 guns instead of 5? (so i can use a probe launcher)

or better yet, a Tengu

For the cost of a Loki, a Faction fit Drake would probably give better performance

I like dreaming up crazy fits and trying them out in various scenarios either on Sisi or (if it's cheap enough) live. From a PvE NOS-based L4 mission Armageddon (works fine, but is a bit slower than I like) to a C3 solo drone-based Legion (it is, unfortunately, pretty much exactly as bad as everyone thinks it is; needs some way to get 75m3 bandwidth!!!), I've toyed with a bunch of fits.

I could never make a Loki with an Emergent Locus Analyzer and an armor tank work. Just look at the slot layouts into which you are forced; a shield Loki will substantially out-damage an armor Loki in almost every circumstance. The only subsystem that seems to give you any real reason to use armor is the Immobility Drivers subsystem because of the amazing webbing range... but Immobility and Emergent are two competing subs that cannot be equipped simultaneously.

I'm going to end up suggesting the original fit on my web site: a shield autocannon Loki. There are alternatives, but this has the benefit of being very easy to drive with sufficient range, damage, speed, and tank for C3 work. The armor/immobility Loki is also workable, but you make a number of sacrifices to make it happen... among them, the expanded launcher and combat probes. Which make it fine for people with alts, but for the solo artist trying to run anomalies without a scout, I consider the lack of combat probes a risk I would not be willing to take. Just yesterday I caught someone trying to triangulate my Legion's position; if it weren't for my combat probes, his combat probes dragged far off the edge of the system waiting to triangulate and then single-cycle-scan me would have gone unnoticed...

If you were that guy, the name of my Legion was "StuckNeedExit!" :-)

Armor tank is much better than shield tank on a C3 Loki. I've posted it in like a dozen threads but EM/Therm are the only resists that matter when you're soloing C3s in a cruiser, because all the exp/kin damage comes from missiles which you will speed tank down to nothing if you're moving at all and will still sig tank down to like 40% even if you're webbed to a standstil.

You don't even need hardeners if you armor tank your Loki due to Minmatar racial resists on top of base armor EM/Therm resists. MARII/Ancillary MAR and four Gyrostabs is more than enough tank.

I gave this a toss in EFT and with all 5 it takes too much CPU. Is there a plugin necessary?

I use an active tanked Eos. Works like a champ.
