Indeed education in America has failed so much that 75% of high school students cannot point to France on a map.

BUT.......I'm not sure what the point of your question was. Are we not allowed to discuss our Holidays ?????

It was a joke bro.

And that statistic is not the real statistic.

Yeah....the real statistic is probably 95% cannot. For REALS. Only 2% can point to Vietnam.

A- Normal human being living in some other place than US or GB -yes those exist, just look out side and travel a little bit

Ironic, Great Britain never has and never will celebrate Thanksgiving. If you "look out side and travel a little bit" you would of known that.

Well considering many US states are larger and more important than these random frivolous 'nations', can't really blame them.

If by "many" you mean the coastal states, then yes.

Because we all know what's in the US is better than what's on the other side of the world, even if you don't know what's on the other side of the world.

Btw, I'm A).

Oh and btw, I don't particularly like my country (France), but the current International monetary fund has a french director, and the one before him (her, actually) was also french. And I can pretty much point almost all important US cities. CNN couldn't :

A) We don't celebrate it here

But I've always wanted to go to a thanksgiving dinner. Part of a dream of mine to celebrate every holiday from every country at some point in my life (preferably in their country of origin). Clocked up a fair few already, a lot, lot more to do.

I lied :o

I don't hate my country. I just don't care for southerners. We can give texas back to mexico (good riddance!) and let the south form their own country like they have always wanted. Big smile

Tell that to all the illegal American immigrants we have here in Australia. The Yanks are in the top group of illegals that can't get enough of one of the last bastions of civilisation left on Earth.

America has Mexicans. Australia has Americans. P

i heard even their news' channels have some issues with placing the cities' names at the good place

There was a competition tonight "For 10 000 pounds, what is the capital of America? a) Berlin b) Paris or c) Washington DC?"

I dread to think how many answered a) or b) What?

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

That's because just having Americans around raises the standard of living.
