Homemade Sansha Beacon - Epic Arc

Hi all,

I was doing this Epic Arc a few years ago and have now decided to continue it. Speaking to the agent, I am required to have this Homemade Sansha Beacon in my hold but I cannot find it anywhere in my assets.

I have typed in "Homemade Sansha Beacon" into the search field of my assets, to no avail, and surmise it must, therefore, be inside a ship's hold or can somewhere. I have thousands of assets to trawl through and, from doing this last time (months ago) I recall I couldn't find it even by this method Ugh

Question ... is there a simpler way of finding out where an asset is hiding without having to go through multiple ship holds and cans? If not I guess I'll have to petition it and ask CCP to help find it (because I DID have it at one point, I remember seeing it). There are none in contracts so I'm scuppered unless I can find it.

Any help or ideas most gratefully received, with thanks.

I know it's a head in a jar. I might suggest using the assets function of EVEMon or EVE-HQ if you have it installed.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

You need to add your assets to evemon, in the advanced features drop down menu. When your assets have been added, go to the assets tab and use the textbox to search.

You can only query the web api for your assets data 1-2 times a day, so the list may not show the most recent changes to your inventory.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

Since it's been a few years, you can just re-start the Epic Arc if needed.

Hopefully a GM will be able to fix the problem.

Thanks for the various replies ... I petitioned on Saturday 18th Jan but no response so far (hmmmm Ugh) ... I shall take the last option and re-start it ( wasn't aware that could be done actually). Many thanks about evemon too.

Edit - I quit the mission but can't play it again for 3 months now, very annoying. I can't even remember where to find epic arc agents. I added a message to my petition asking if they can restart it for me ... since they haven't responded so far I don't hold much hope they'll reply any time soon.

Edit: wow, you were deep in to the final stages of the Amarr arc. If you can get them to reset it there and find your item, you'll be very closed to done. Keep in mind the item type is Commodity. That should help you search for it.

Qalix thanks for that, I didn't know it's a commodity - I've re-checked to no avail. Unless CCP help me with this I have to wait until 21st April (Sad) ... in the meantime am I able to start another arc (whenever it is I manage to find an agent)?

So quitting the mission cancels out the entire arc? Bummer.

Just saw this on the Epic mission arcs Evelopedia page :

Warning: Failing a mission will take you back to the first mission in the chapter, or end the arc.


Now about the Support Ticket (petition), it should have been filed as Agent mission in progress - Character stuck. Those usually get answered within 15 minutes. Might get the arc reset if you say you misread the Evelopedia page and thought that quitting the mission would take you back to the start of the chapter. Hopefully the GM will be generous and reset it for you.
