meh - both sides formed up on a hole, LF waiting for overwhelming odds to commit? Maybe next time will be better but the fault is not entirely on Suicide for the blueballing....


to add to Max's post above, we're in a c5/c5 and we're always down for a gudfight (or a notsogudfight).

I get some of you have issues with Talo, but let's not let that skew facts. We waited for nearly 30 minutes for you to decide you wanted to fight, and when you finally did, you had to have overwhelming odds. You then turned around and demanded we be ready within 10 minutes for your new fleet. Our KB speaks for itself on our willingness to fight. We didn't fight fast enough for you with your blap dreads on standby.

And for the record, I said nothing about my corp's conduct. I would have liked to fight last night, but oh well. You don't always get things your way do you?

Might be a bit of a misunderstanding going on right now. Maybe i can try to make some amends; in the roughly 5 months we have been active in C5 space we have run into Kill it With Fire (as far as I'm aware) 3 times

First time this happened:

The Second time we where rage rolling and noticed your scout in our static just as the connection went crit, we left the orca there trying to come up with a way to bring a fight without leaving most of our people trapped unable to help. in the end we ended up jumping the orca back and hoping that we might roll into you and provide a fight. unfortunately we where not that lucky.

Third and most recent time this happened:
From our internal battle-report thing basically the FC at the time talking about what he might have been able to do differently, this is unedited.

After giving them 15-20minutes to form up they brought 3 guardians + subcap support. They had several dreads unpiloted and/or unscouted at this point. They refused to jump into us and as we were staged off the hole properly we didnt jump into them, exspecially with them having the potential to blap dread us to death. They stated that they could not jump into us with the fight.

They then swapped doctrines to 5 guardians, loki heavy plus a vigilant for 90% webs with a couple neut legions and only 2-3 DPS. Soon thereafter, our scout watched one of their dread pilots hop into a Moros with his subcap alt on the hole. Additionally, there were another three Moros, Naglfar, and a Revelation on d-scan, spread out between towers. It was pretty clear at this point that they'd be dread blapping with the ability to easily escalate to break our solo triage. Since we didn't have any secondary carrier pilots on standby and not enough DPS to break their fleet if we put half the fleet into Guardians. This escalation -- after waiting another 15 minutes to see what they were up to -- forced us to move off the field and yield the hole to them to roll. End result was a 2 different doctrines facing off with neither side choosing to take a fight that would result with a 90%+ chance of failure for their fleet.


From what I have heard everyone on our end was sad/annoyed we had to yield the hole without the chance to even make a valiant stand dropping one or two ships and going down in a ball of glory. Working on a way of fixing that apart from just exploding because someone on the other side of the hole thinks it would be fun. I'm sure you can appreciate this otherwise you would have jumped into us in the first 30 min.

Maybe we can setup a time to brawl around in low-sec or something to redeem our lack of exploding? I would say W-space but the chain can be so fickle.

Suicide Express has fought every time we have run into them. Other, larger, and more vocal groups not so much.

Indeed. Suicide Express is all about the pew. I can speak from personal experience that going into someones home system, only for them to drop multiple dreads on you isn't a good fight. It's killmail whoring at it's finest.

What is even worse is when you don't sacrifice all your ships like an idiot, you are labeled as someone who doesn't fight. Some people need to get that ridiculous thinking out of their heads.

In conclusion, Suicide Express: +1

So much bandwagon hate.

Here's what the mood was in LFARM that night: "Get in dreads, if you want. You will lose it tonight." We were going to jump into your Magnetar fully expecting to lose everything because **** everything as long as we at least killed a few things on our way down. We were trying to decide if you guys wanted to fight or gank. After a crybaby convo from Talo telling us to come at you, we were certain you would. We did you the favor and jumped into your home to give you free kills. Instead, we were let down.

The point of this is not that you don't fight. It's that you don't "suicide your ****".

I always think its ballsy when you jump caps into someone else home. You pretty much know you stand a fair chance of losing it. That is what impressed me about noho putting a nag and a archon in SSC home. They had to know SSC would respond with a ton of caps. As far as this fight, I would have loved to seen it but sounds like it wasn't meant to be.

Our FC for the fight knows he should have jumped in. Which is probably what will happen in the future; like sex it's probably going to be a little awkward the first time it happens.

I'm all for running headlong into the jaws of oblivion when we have the chance to kill something or provide fun for our pilots even when we know we will explode, FC didn't think either of those two things would happen should we have engaged later in the encounter.
