Having taken a HAM Drake's full fury in an active-rep Enyo without its doing much more than scratching my paint, I'm fairly confident that torpedoes aren't going to cut the mustard against frigates.

Plus which, dedicated exploration frigates will pack drones. And a well-skilled set of drones will hurt a stealth bomber.

I updated the fit to use ML's. And I agree, some explo ships would be packing drones, but I can't think of a hull as cheap as a SB that would be able to handle that, without gimping its DPS.

Although, I could drop a BCS and one of the points, and add a micro power core and a medium shield extender II

With cloaking 5 and a good ability to bump almost anything will do really.

Gimping all the things you want just to be in an SB doesnt seem worth it.

Find any frig with a spare high slot, put an MWD on it and practice the bump and what range you should start at.

I have modified it further.

Dropped the web for a 2nd point to deal with covops with three WCS.
Dropped the shield extender for a medium ASB, to free up enough PG for a DCII

I would assume you are using an Astero then? And what you say about the cruisers getting a lock is the exact reason I want to use a SB. Well, that and I am cheap.
