laggy fleet fights are definitely a new phenomenon and we should all be outraged.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

CCP knows this was all caused by their failed programming, yet the response they give to their paying customers is basically tough!

If I paid for this game, that would be the end for sure.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

P.S. can't wait to read the 100 news articles from every gaming site on the internet flameing CCP for this.

P.S.S. CCP, please post stats of how many accounts this loses you Lol

No, that's no goon alt. Sounds more like Ziona. She runs from thread to thread with the purpose of making people angry, because that makes her feel better about herself. It's pretty sad that people have to behave that way.

bingo, his pig not being a goat doesn't make the pig wrong, just him an idiot for shouting at his pig "WHY ARENT YOU A GOAT!" (Source)

Actually I'm not with any null-sec alliance.
I just think this is total crap customer support.

FACT: CCP members tweeted that the server couldn't handle the load.
FACT: CCP knew this was going on, they even shut down and changed nodes to support it.

Both facts the player base knew full well too.

Funny thing here is, Goons knew exactly what they were doing. They attempted to purposely crash the node by piling 1000 domi's into the blob already assembled in that system, just like they did a few weeks ago, and turning PL and co. advantage into a game of who can log back in fastest when the server eventually comes back up.
Trouble is, the node held and they paid the price of the gamble they took. They knew full well what cramming a 1000 domi's into that system plus all those dreads would hopefully do ( not their own dreads though, they told the ruskies to go first by coincidence and goonies only lost a handfull, the rest were rusrus dreads sent to the sacrificial lamb known as PL/N3 ) but it just didnt work out for them this time.

Sucks for them i guess.

While I don't care about laggy fleet battles or anything like that. the fact CCP's support actually told a paying customer to contact another player as regards a issue instead of doing the job they are paid for is insulting to the whole playerbase not only the ones that lost ships in some battle.

If thats what CCP pass's as customer service they need a wake up call.

....expert team....working on making this more enjoyable......

Really?

Like ESS kinda enjoyable? Like fix sov kinda enjoyable? Like WIS kinda fun? Cause bashing my toon against the door made me sub two new alts.......

That being said...this policy has been in place since time began. It is coincides with the first rule of EvE....namely don't fly what you can't afford. You always gonna die in this game hopefully to laser beams...but sometimes to lag...sometimes to noobs....sometimes to camps and bubbles. But you gonna die.

Here's a tin foil hat idea,

What if this is what CCP intended? A lot of people have complained over the years that the Massive null sec blocks are taking all the fun out of null. CCP can't fix this problem directly because they are afraid of the back lash that any direct influence over mechanics will have. So they purposely don't upgrade/fully reinforce their server nodes so that massive fleet battles have issues.

After a while null sec blocks will have no choice but to account for server stability and the battles will become smaller, and FC's will have to start choosing who gets to fight and who doesn't. Battles become smaller, and smaller alliances now have a better chance.

CCP didn't want to directly change anything so they just point and say, "Too many of you, our sever no handle it, your fault".
A sound plan if it doesn't force CCP to loose half their subs

I'm pretty sure you are just ranting for the sake of ragetyping. Your argument a few posts ago was "They knew their server was dying". Now, it's evolved into "ther CS is garbage". Pick a side, and stick with it. You almost sound like a politician.

This is as nice as I get. Best quote ever https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4137165#post4137165

What?

I see nothing wrong with them reaching out to alliance/coalition leadership to help communicate a policy. In fact I applaud their move here. Most established groups have forums, TS and other internal communications outside of EVE.

This move ensures that ALL sides get the same message in a fair and transparent way.

OK, so both

CCP customer service is the worst of any service I've ever used.
They knew this was happening, they know people were "stuck" on jump-in but they simply don't care.

Telling paying customers to contact other customers for customer support, rather than contacting the people you give your money to in the first place is wrong.
