CCP should move all the beefy rats and anoms to high sec so concord would have a reason to pay bounties, that should also distract all the hated high sec ppl from running those damn lv4 missions.

ok i was trolling there but if CCP would also move all the lv3 to low sec and lv4 to null that could actually work. never gonna happen tho

Makes me wonder who should run missions in null sec. Everyone hates PVE there. And those who would want to do it cannot because all L4 agent stations would be perma camped. With the current mindset of the players: phenomenally dense idea.

if null sec ppl hated PVE so much they wouldnt mind the removal of bounties from rat.
high sec ppl would still have good rats on belts and anomalies to farm, this would also spread ppl around. and maybe it would remove a bit of hate on the miners since at that point they would be forced to fit some tank just for the rats

Without bounties there would be no way to make ISK in null-sec.

You wouldn't make no bounty. You would make as much bounty as the sov holder would pay you. THAT'S the point.

But you just removed all of the income from nullsec. Where does the sov holder get the money to pay bounties from when you have removed the sov holder's income?

I know you're trolling, but really? You want nullsec to be completely pointless?

Confirming that OP is extremely mad, extremely bad at posting and probably drunk.

Also, posting in a troll thread.

Remove isk bounties and add moon minerals as loot?

Remove moon mining (or reduce the amount you get per day) if you want to increase ratting value even more. Nullsec then becomes the defacto place for T2 minerals.

Why is CONCORD allowing Sansha Incursions in high-sec space? CONCORD is mighty enough to obliterate 250 capsuleer battleships within 20 seconds - no matter the system, it makes no sense that Incursions continue to exist. Same goes for missions against pirates in high-sec, they shouldn't exist anymore, only missions against the empires should be given out.

Because criminal organizations never manage to set up illegal operations in secure areas/cities. Sure... Roll And Sansha use WH to sneak into systems, not gate routes. They appear literally out of nowhere; thus they are impossible to keep out of any space. For the time being at least. Concord could crush them in a short while tho, actually they should even do that a day later to give capsuleers a chance to rid them first.

If it takes concord a day to track down sansha rats in high sec belts and missions then it should take longer to track down capsuleers who are inherantly more powerful and skilled. Clearly we need concord response times nerfed to 24 hrs.

The op does have a point, certain mechanics employed in null sec pertain to Concord, sov and bounties ect, yet no other effects which ofc does not make any sense.

Why would concord be bothered with some blood raider battleships out at the arse end of period basis, considering Concord does not give a damn about capsuleers shoting each other all day long out there why would they be bothered with pirates.

Also some sov structures in there descriptions update to Concords database..why..does Concord come out and police the area?

Also Null sec alliances are registered with Concord which benifits the alliance in what way? maybe the ability to war dec and fight in empire space againest war targets but other than that whats the benifit? Can the allaince choose a make a free alliance option with no empire war dec claus?

And last but not least why do alliances even have to pay sov bills to Concord? and why if the bill is not payed does the alliance disband? does Concord have the ability to just simply revoke your status at anytime by declining your payment? so if the Amarr empire gets all up in Concords face does Concord accounts department just hit the payment rejected button?

Ok last part was a joke but it kinda reads that way.

This is a great discussion with lots of good points. It reminds me of my idea to make rats smarter- have them always attacking POSes, stations, etc to get back sov for themselves, but in a way that is semi intelligent and not mind numbingly boring like missions. In my opinion, this should start out as a feature in new null space to operate as a test before being rolled out further, with the pirates starting out with sov, or we could do it with existing npc null.

If more/better loot replaces bounties, just remember to make all the loot in Provi suck to keep balance in the game.

I prefer the idea of sov holders paying the bounties. For balance, they should be given some sort of isk faucet that approximates the amount they should be expected to pay out to keep things as they are now. This could even be in the form of an outright payout from Concord to outsource the work. For example, give Goonswarm something like 2 trillion a month in isk so that they can afford the bounties to offer highsec guys to come blow up rats for them. Or they could just keep it for space socialism and require membership to kill x number of rats a month. I really love this idea- so much opportunity for players to play in the sandbox.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.
