Looks like you had fun, I'm eager to try the Rift and Valkyrie myself.

Can you tell me, did you feel any dizziness/queasiness after trying the Rift? A friend of mine tried it and said he felt sick and nearly fell over after he took it off. Does Valkyrie feel like something you can play for an hour or more without becoming too uncomfortable?

No dizziness or queasiness at all. But the demo was only 3 minutes. I can't say for certain how it would affect me in a longer session. Personally, I'd be willing to suffer a little dizziness if the final game is as good as I'm hoping for.

As I understand it, the "VR sickness" as it's being called, is the result of sub-par hardware in early versions of the Rift. Motion blur and latency are huge contributing factors. But with the HD Prototype that I was using, these issues were practically non-existant. And the consumer version is supposed to be even better.
