Can you be attacked during warp.

Can you be attacked during warp? I watch as my transport went into warp and was blown up My pod went on warping.
p.s. Not sure how I could have prevented it but hey its EvE you play with jerks who blow you up and lose 70 mil vs scanning you and finding out they would be losing money. Can't fix stupid. Honestly I was under the impression that if you in warp you could not even be targeted.

Yes you can be attacked during warp.

i.e. Smartbomb battleships can position around and enroute to a gate at 5km intervals. If they are all banging away a ship warping to that gate will pass through the AoE and sustain damage. Smaller ships can be insta-poped this way.

you were not in warp, you were entering warp, wich is a phaze happening after you give the warp order, before the actual warp, during wich you can be targeted // damaged // killed, during wich your ship will align and gain speed until it reaches the 75% speed required to actually start the warp.

the "2014.01.20 **:**:37(notify) You cannot do that while warping." message is probably you trying to redock, wich cannot happen unless you first cancel the warp order.

also, area of effect weapons, like bombs or smartbombs can damage cloacked entity and in warp entitys (even if you cumulate both effects
