Hello everyone :)

I have been googling like a crazy person, with no result, so now i hope someone here can help me :)

I'm currently looking for the different materials needed for the blueprints acquired trough COSMOS missions.

So far, i have managed to find these 7 items, all in the Yan Jung Relic Site in Deltole:

Yan Jung Technology Skillbook
Yan Jung Semiotic Theory
Yan Jung Void Machine
Yan Jung Plenary Wire
Yan Jung Thunder Kite
Yan Jung Silk Armor
Yan Jung Trigonometric Laws

I did every container in the Yan Jung Relic Site in Deltole, and only these 7 different items appeared. So now i'm wondering where i get the last 6 items i need.

The following is what i can't find:

Yan Jung Info Matrix
Yan Jung Crystal Cylinder
Yan Jung Null Shell
Yan Jung Nano Fabric
Yan Jung Singularity Fact Sheet
Yan Jung Tachyon Stetoscope

Is there another site similar to the one in Deltole? And if so, where? :) i would really like to do the blueprints, so i hope someone is able to help me, as to where i can get these items :)

A more pertinent question is why? Most faction / deadspace modules are superior. to COSMOS stuff.

I wanne find them! :)

As to why, well I just like to give it a shot, and i love exploring this game, and there's obviously some part i don't know of, where the last 6 pieces must come from :)

Is there really no one out there who knows where to get the last 6 parts ? :(

I see a couple of them on the market, not many though...

I just hope someone can share with me, where to find them :)

Can't be of any help alas. I did give you a like as I've tried to find some tachyon stetoscopes myself as I have a bunch of cosmos BPCs that need that and some of the other items you listed.

Google doesn't help either.

It's possible that they are just really rare drops but I don't know for sure or people that know aren't telling - this I think is unlikely as anyone that had a source for these items could make a nice income selling them.

Didn't the link with the other sites help?

There are two sites in the Gallente cosmos site. One for hacking, the other one for archeology. That's where you get them. They are random drops when you hack the cans.

The other cosmos missions/sites are the same sort of deal. It's all just chance based.

You do certainly not obtain Yan Jung items through any form of hacking; only through archaeology. The components found in the hacking containers, are of the Serpentis variant and not Yan Jung.

Most people know squat about these things, apparently.

There are THREE locations in the Deltole system where you can find Yan Jung components. It is a bit tricky to explain where to find what, but let me try:

There are four tiers of containers and five tiers of components, going in both cases from most common to least.

A tier 1 container has a high chance of containing a tier 1 component and a little chance for a tier 2 component.

A tier 2 container has a high chance of containing a tier 2 component and little chance for a tier 3 component. And so on.

Finding a tier 5 component is pretty rare, as the number of tier 4 containers is low (that should answer your question, voetius). Further, there are two variations of containers and three variations of components. The first variation of container always contain "data pamphlet" components while the other variant randomly selects between the other two components (the tachyon stetoscopes is one of these).

AFAIK at least tier 2, 3 and 4 containers all have a small chance of containing a skill book besides the component. Perhaps all tiers do. Components respawn every 20 minute, I think it is.

Anyhow, you will find a very few tier 1 and 2 containers at Deltole Planet VI - Moon 1 and a lot more in the Ancient Ruins part of the Contested Skeleton Comet deadspace complex.

Tier 3 and 4 containers are only located in the Yan Jung Relic Site deadspace complex.

Oh, and I forgot, while COSMOS items involving Serpentis components generally are useless, many of the Yan Jung modules have a solid market; their stats equal or are better than tech 2, but their fitting costs are much lower than any other variants, allowing for fitting setups otherwise not obtainable. I have made some billions doing this as a side business. Not an insane amount, but ok for the time put into it.

Yeah I meant to say archeology gives them. I just say "Hack" to mean both but they are different. You need a Relic Analyzer to get them.

Good info though Jowen.

Thank you so much for clearing this up!! :) And yes, I did end up with like 15 skillbooks or so, by going trough the side, so very likely they are a "placeholder" :)

Thank you, thank you :) Now I got some hope back, and can continue :)

Thank you !!!!!

It's idiotic how many players do indeed forget about this reason.

Most of them in fact. It actually says a lot about the playerbase.

Alright, since i wasn't the only one who was looking for them, i'm gonna give you an update :)

These are found in Yan Jung Relic Site - Deltole
Yan Jung Semiotic Theory
Yan Jung Void Machine
Yan Jung Plenary Wire
Yan Jung Thunder Kite
Yan Jung Silk Armor
Yan Jung Trigonometric Laws

These are found in Contested Gallente Skeleton Site - Deltole
Yan Jung Crystal Cylinder
Yan Jung Info Matrix
Yan Jung Null Shell
Yan Jung Glass Scale
Yan Jung Paradox Box
Yan Jung Vellum Etch

These remains to be found:
Yan Jung Nano Fabric
Yan Jung Singularity Fact Sheet
Yan Jung Tachyon Stetoscope

With these last three, i belive the case might be as Jowen Datloran wrote, that the t2 container has a small chance of dropping t3.
In Contested Gallente Skeleton Site i happened to get 1 item, that i had also gotten in the Yan Jung Relic Site, i belive that was a case of Jowen Datloran's theory, so these last 3 items might very well be a very rare drop from the containers in Yan Jung Relic Site, thats atleast what i'm gonna try out :)

T1 & T2 - Contestd Gallente Skeleton Site
T3 & T4 - Yan Jung Relic Site + Deltole VI Moon I
T5 - Most likely a rare drop from the t3 and t4 locations.

Sorry if I came off as an arrogant fool. I am actually delighted that somebody has interest in these items.

I used to record a lot about these. Even did statistics on the drops to estimate the probabilities.

This is exactly all the three tier 5 Yan Jung Components. Off to the Yan Jung Relic Site to find these.
Look in the Yan Jung Pulsing Crystal for the Singularity Fact Sheet and the Yan Jung Impaired Monument for the Nano Fabric and Tachyon Stetoscope. Those are the tier 4 containers, and as far as I remember, there are four of each...

Further, statistics from other similar COSMOS sites (for Takmahl components, sampling size: a couple of hundreds) state, that you got about 10% chance of finding a tier 5 component in a tier 4 container. And that is split equally for the Nano Fabric and Tachyon Stetoscope (5% each). Those 20 minutes, those damn 20 minutes.

Well, it's neither here nor there, but I actually just like building this stuff occassionally and fitting a little COSMOS pimp ship to play around with. Big smile Sometimes you just gotta stop and smell the Minmatar BO. Blink Or in the OP's case, the Gallente BO.
