Interdictor Aggression

Recently CCP made it so HICS aggres instantly with the bubble up to prevent them from docking. I'm just wondering why the same thing has not been done with the interdictors? Many time I see Interdictors undock drop a bubble on the undock and dock up instantly with no aggression timers. Even when someone tries to warp with the bubble up it won't aggres them. Just because one is deployable and the other isn't it is still considered an aggressive act no? Same restrictions should apply to the Heavy Interdictors and the Light interdictors. Bubble up,ship tries to warp out or in aggression. Light dictors have the advantage already with high speed to get out of harms way once bubble is out, HICS have a speed restriction and do not have the ability to get out of harms way (can't receive reps from logi etc etc.) Level out the playing field a little bit CCP, you Weaken ships that take a long time to train into and boost abilities of ships anyone and their mother can fly in a relatively short time.

I'm in the middle somewhere. Automatic aggression for bubbling ruins a bunch of fun tactics and makes it difficult to drop precautionary bubbles. Things like hobojamming and bubble-then-jump tactics are legitimate tactics. The removal of all aggression from them though is a problem. The old style "no aggression unless someone tries to warp" mechanics were solid and allowed both variety and counters to those tactics.

I'm also of a couple minds on this subject. On the one hand doctors even after balance still are pretty squishy overall to pay for their mobility. So giving them instant agro timer on a gate or undock is (likely) signing them a death warrant in many cases. Then again with the change in the bubble launcher its too easy for fleet/gang dics to bubble both sides of a gate at no risk at all.

A tough point to balance. Maybe make it a skill based reduction on AGR timer with launcher activation. But that could then open a whole different can of shinanagans.

I agree there needs to be a change made to that. I like the idea of going back to the old style or something similar. No aggression timer unless someone warps into or attempts to warp out of the bubble.

Yeah it has been a problem for a long time, the equalization of ships and skill balance considering it takes a lot longer to train a t1/t2 hic then it does an interdictor. Me i would like to see Hics at least be able to get reps with the bubble up at least and the warp-in warp out aggression needs to be fixed for both ship classes.
