Funnily enough, the CQ would actually be a reasonable place to host 'livestreams' while trying to avoid bandwidth overloads - as you can just send the game client simple actions, rather than images to decode. It would also allow for other special flavors.

They'd need to implement support for that first though...

Your understanding of how the PLEX system works is laughable. The only reason people are able to "run incursions" to pay for game time is because someone like you pays REAL MONEY to buy a PLEX and sell that to someone for ISK. Please go take your poorly typed and poorly formulated "complaints" somewhere else while civilized and intelligent people congratulate CCP on what a good event this was.

I've done a bit of math, to help the situation become more clear. There are 7500 systems in Eve.

Given this, essentially, took place in only one of them, this is a DIRECT SNUB to all but 0.013% of EvE.

Also, I can confirm from leaked emails, that CCP were actually transferring money into the accounts of goons whilst this event took place.

CCP, please look at this thread, and hold it against other whine threads. Understand that literally anything you do will induce tears from people. This includes GIVING away playtime, and billions of ISK in loots. Then, nerf supers harder.

Lol, i just think rouge is whining because he didnt get any loot, the amount that all of that combined added to the eve market is a tiny spec, about as noticeable as that one piece of dust, yeah, do you see that ONE spec there?

Also confirming that i seriously doubt any of the big alliances got much loot as they were a minority there, and i personally got a bunch of it as my alt, and watched as most of it got nabbed by people like me single enterprising pilots in interceptors/frigates

I also saw quite a bit get destroyed by having the wrecks shot as well, i started doing that when my cargo filled

This.

CCP has a long track record of contempt for the player-run economy and this is just the latest example. They buy up PLEX/GTC with ISK they magic-created and drive up the grind cost for everybody else.

Spawning **** from nothing is fine on Sisi. If you want to form a fleet on TQ, EARN IT. Or fly blackbirds/ruppies next time.

Hmm, there was c:a 70-75 CCP piloted ships involved.

Each with 2 Plex in cargo hold.

The drop chance is 50% so about 70-75 "free" Plexes was dropped in an evil attempt to disrupt the EvE sandbox economy.

The avg turnover of Plexes in The Forge alone is a bit over 2000/d.

I'd say that their evil attempt to disrupt the sandbox economy failed miserably.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

It's a shame that a fantastic event like this (and I missed the pew pew entirely) is being de-valued by a bunch of whiney schoolgirls ranting about conspiracies and how they didn't get teh lootz.

I can think of no other game where devs have mixed it with their player base , and even tried to reward the players for it and all some of you can do is whine about it.

I say good job CCP you've more than earnt my respect , please do more of this.
