This might be effective if a large number of nullsec players do it for a set period, ie a month. No need to quit entirely, particularly if you enjoy the game and want to see it fixed. A vicious jab where it hurts, right at the profit and loss statement.

Consider actively helping reduce lag long term by removing miners from the belts in highsec. They claim, after all, to be alts of powerful nullsec players funding their nullsec activities in highsec.

Alternatively, contract all your assets to James 315 and send him a nice evemail explaining why you are quitting. You will not only help improve the game for everyone, but your legacy will live on forever in a post on a popular website.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

It's well-known that putting 4000+ pilots in-system, even in a re-enforced node, is the same as saying 'lag me to death.' That y'all cyno'd dreads *into* the bubbles whilst your sub-cap fleet was already on-grid means you didn't really want those dreds, and didn't really come to win.

Your tears do not move me.

I, on the other hand, would use them most foolishly. Gimme!

Hmm. Well, jumping onto a grid with 1000 ships that already has 2700 on it, 1800 of which was already yours was pretty noob.

Guess you should quit.

N3/PL left plenty of room on grid for you to get your ships in.

Guess you were just trying to crash the node.

We love goon tears.

For a long time now the only answer CFC had to anything and everything was a blob.
Over time, the blob grew bigger and bigger up to a point where it is too big for servers to handle.
Lets be reasonable here and assume that CCP wont be able to make any significant improvements in the near future...
And this being EVE, there is one cardinal rule... ADAPT OR DIE.
So as I see it, the great powers can either adapt to this situation or keep blobing (and thus killing the servers in the process).
Well in the battle of HED-GP the CFC forces decided to go down the "bigger blob" road despite knowing what is going to happen and thus found themselves on the "or die" end. GG.
For those saying that they didnt know that there is a "chance" to get stuck in a jump tunnel, let me say that it is their fault because the same thing happened several times in the past (but the CFC was in the favourable position back then and therefore not complaining, ie. in the battle of 6VDT-H).
It doesnt take much brain power to guess what is going to happen when you try to jump 600+ caps to a grid with 3k players already there with maxed TiDi, does it?

TL;DR: TiDi is good, CCP wont change a thing in the near future, just HTFU and deal with it.

Looks like once you get past a certain minimum number of pilots available, the meta-strategy moves from how you handle your fleet, to how fast you can *deploy* your fleet. As Nathan Bedford Forrest is reputed to have said "I got there first with the most men."

Maneuver warfare returns to New Eden!

Basically this. PL/N3 held the field since before DT, showed better strategic planning by counting on the CFC common practise of bridging in mass subcap fleet which made their caps stuck and helpless. Well played by PL/N3, simple as that.

Lots to work out as the game ages and saturation of players becomes more intense.

CCP - Please work this out.

This is not a new issue, and rather than fix it CCP continues to introduce more and more crap for highsec instead.

Which was more important, the ability to kill highsec POCOS or stability in nullsec fleet warfare?

I hate to say it, but I think all the programmers and designers CCP have who are capable of fixing nullsec issues are now working on World of Darkness, Valkyrie, and DUST. EVE Online seems to have gone into terminal mode (where the only 'new' things are graphical and/or simplifications of existing systems, such as the progressive dumbing down of ships by removing fitting options).

I dare CCP to prove me wrong, but as things stand, they will get no more real money off me. I'd rather spend it on Star Citizen.Blink
