...as when they get moved to CCP's server with the crucible, all your custom folders will be gone and all bookmarks appear in one main folder.

It would be awesome if they have time to fix this before the update, but if not.... would probably be wise to add some crash test characters to start of your bookmark labels in tranq so you know to which folder they belong when crucible goes live. Could make it tiny bit easier to reorganize them.

They should be migrated. However the folders for your sisi client are cached in a different folder than your TQ client. So if you were expecting your TQ folders to be there when you connect to sisi then they are not and never have been.

We have run upgrade tests on the migration and it worked and I have no defects indicating otherwise.

Dunno... I have had folders in my bookmarks for ages and they surely should be visible on current sisi mirror.
However there are none. All the bookmarks from those folders are there, but now they are in a single folder.

So... they aren't migrated?

The bookmarks themselves are copied to sisi but the folders they are in are saved client side in the cache.
Singularity and TQ have separate caches so all the bookmarks default into 1 folder on SISI as the SISI cache hasn't got the bookmark folders saved.

Ok. This explains it then.
Thank you for the clarification.

for me the fodlers are the same. but thats because i copied my tq settings over to my sisi folder, partly for this eason, and partky so that all my settings are the same, helps to find bugs with the ui if i know both uis have the same settings

also i can confirm that the fodlers successfully migrated to server side storage

^^ Good news this.

I've had some issues with those bookmark folders ever since I started to explore the EVE universe, and started to get alot of BMs. One issue that really had me all fired up (ask the poor GMs) was when somehow the settings files got corrupted and I had to start over with clean settings, and making new folders for it all.

Wouldn't it be doable to move those folders to serverside, like you did with fittings? Setting a maximum amount of BMs that can go into a folder, say 75 as an example, wouldn't increase the traffic too much?

Edit: I have about 2400 bookmarked locations now and it would be more if I didn't have the feeling those folders can vanish at any time (hours of sorting).
