But seriously now:

If you are actually salvaging for ISK, then train Minmatar Frigate to 5, Salvaging to 5, use T II salvagers and 1 Salvage Tackle rig on a Vigil (It's so giggle-inducingly fast even with just a 'burner and the rig's penalty), and just orbit the Noctis up close (< 3km)--you won't get 'em all, but you'll still be able to loot/salvage quite a few wrecks right out from under the Noctis, and this can make for...errrrm...interesting...exchanges in the local channelTwisted

Or you could just be a nice guy, and ask in local.

You'll only get a rise out of inexperienced mission runners.

Ultimately, Ninja salvaging is a newbie occupation. You hardly affect experienced mission runners and it's a complete waste of your own time - beyond the occasional laugh. But that gets boring really quickly.

Time is money. Money that can be earned and spent on more rewarding/exciting occupations.

Having said that, I'd recommend everyone give it a try for the simple purpose of honing your scanning skills. It also gives me, as a mission runner, a lot of laughs watching ninjas waste their time, while the ISK rolls in for me. Big smile

The Noctis has not made ninja looting harder it made it easier. just set distance to target 50m and scoop anything he noctis brings you. You can also run a special method to insta scoop the loot.
