What was your biggest "WTF-Moment" in that Fight?

I can imagine the PL Hotdrop was a pretty spectacular sight ;)

One feature I'd request going forward is the ability to have people join fleets with any standing. One issue we ran into with the Jita fleet was that we were limited to invites; the fleet finder functionality did not help us in any way. There were many instances were we needed coordination and shuffling among the various wing and squad commanders to invite people into open slots. Being able to simply set the fleet to have people join it would have been incredibly useful, but we wee limited to "excellent" or "good" standing. Hard to do for a really ad-hoc fleet. A setting where maybe people could join who were in a certain jump radius, or in a channel, or just plain open, would have been great.

Thanks for the fun, and hope to do some more of these in the future.

THIS ↑↑ tbh, I don't see why we can't have an option to let any tom, **** or harry into fleet if we so want, there's occasions such as this or the oft equally random "all comers" fleets that formed up around the incursion live events when it's a real pita for fc's to invite the spam of Xs, and frustrating for those that want to get into a fleet for a quick blast that're left waiting. Please pretty please add this in sometime Soon™ (I guess maybe in the 1.1 patch as I guess you may have one or two other things going on right now), it's not something that'll be used often be neither is it something that should be very hard to implementBig smile

Just posting to say this.

From an outsider's perspective (I haven't been able to do any meaningful actions for months due to IRL time being heavily restricted), I absolutely love this sort of thing. Taking into account the past few (rocky) months, and the general attitude of the players wrt devs and CCP as a whole, coming here and reading this sort of thing is like a breath of fresh air.

More of these, please! Have some Polaris reporters standing by recording/streaming it so we can have a live recanting of the battle so those of us who couldn't participate can at least view it.

I'm just gonna go ahead in point out that I had nothing to do with ANY of those fittings, including the ship I was flying. Thanks!

I think this just proves that this game is all about luck. No really, I have absolutely no skills and didn't know what I was doing half the time, I was mostly just clicking random things.... :P

Check out the video linked in the blog that's avalible courtesy EVE Radio, whilst I agree it'd be kinda nice to have an 'official' CCP vid it's probaly something that's too close to work when they're just out to blow stuff up and have a laughLol ER frequently get people in on stuff like this to stream/record video, it's worth checking them out if you can't make it to an event yourself, even if you're not inclined to their regular output.

Alright, it is time to fess up who was responsible for the fittings.

That was me and I had a very short time window to get everything ready for a fleet of 70 people who were spending all day fixing defects for Crucible. I pretty much took top fits off Battleclinic and, in hindsight, I realize I was probably pulling off PvE fits without paying the proper amount of attention.

Still, we will learn from this and the next fleet will be much different Big smile

REPENT! You must mine Veldspar for Chribba. In a Kestral.

And seriously those Mach fits were from the top result in BC? Should have just asked for fits in Local in a couple of populated systems. Or asked the CSM. Though they would have possibly given you fail fits. I would have thought the lack of points and CAP RECHARGERS as well as REPAIR RIGS on BUFFERS would have given it away. But that's just me.

Every rookie ship that was destroyed was coming directly at us. We had no choice but to defend ourselves.

One of the most enjoyable fights I have been in. Thanks to everyone who took part.
