I just knew I have seen this face before....this is an older thread from OP:

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=90111#post90111

Somehow the old thread and this new one fit perfectly together.

I think OP is simply too good to share anything with the common eve peons.

It is lonely at the top,I pitty the OP.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

because running a corp and or alliance is expensive

why the hell should you get hangar access, people to fly with, kill mails and the ability to operate in areas usually not suited to lone wolf ops for free?

Strong financials give a corp or alliance better footing and make them more productive.

If you don't think paying your share is fair than enjoy being a lone wolf scrub for the rest of your life

The true amusement lies in seeing people call themselves “freemen" without them understanding that this is just another form of serfdom. Lol

Alliance bills are 2 million a month so its a good con if you have an entire corp paying 10% to pay for that.

Please explain everything else. why do a lot of players need Corporate hangars

Hi, as the CEO of Fatal Ascension, if Alliance Bills were 2mil a month, I also would not have Taxes.

Ours are about 17b a month not including the 15b in fuel for towers. We also pay out about 12b in ship replacements. So taxes are kinda needed.

Hello

I really said that SOV bills were not included in this. The cost of SOV is massive and needs taxes to pay for it. and defending it costs a fortune as well. i understand the Taxes on SOV alliances

Sometimes you've got to start at the bottom. Judging from the general tone of your posts, I assume this isn't an option for you.

Even if you did not have SOV bills, you still have bills that have absolutely nothing to do with SOV. And with out the structured taxes you will not grow or be worth a damn.

Hence, by your responses and your intial post, it is clear, that you have no idea what it really takes to run an alliance / corp.

You sir are talking out of your ass.

LOLS

i have run a corp/alliance. i had 40 people in my corp and it burned me out which is why i fly alone. i had a 10% tax rate and all the goodies. i had lots of other people working for me as well. mining away to fill my orders and i was making a fortune and my corp was happy and growing. But i was burned out.

Afterwards i started a selective corp with a 0% tax and everyone was happy. people got rich, always turned out for pvp in good ships plus they had there own POSes BPOs everything they could want. Occasionally we would do a Mining Op for the hell of it and we would split the Ore between us or someone would buy it all. Everyone got paid and everyone was happy.

But i just got burned out.

So please dont tell me that i dont know what im talking about

I can and I will.

Considering most of us posting here actually ran much larger corps and grew it from nothing, and understand full well what it is required.

You sir are irrelevant.

1. There are plenty of ways to earn isk that are not taxed by corp tax.
2. Unless you do not pvp, join the corp with your pvp main, and not the alt with which you make your isk.
3. There are corporations that operate on member donations instead of taxes. These are my favorites and oddly usually get more isk from me.

You are completely right

Ill do what most people do. have a PVP alt and a carebear alt.

And regarding number 3 im the same as you. i would much rather pay a flat fee every month for the upkeep of the corp and i dont mind paying more that way

ITT: If you pay taxes you're a serf.

I usally write one of these and then change it a month later when I reread it and decide it sounds stupid.

I pay a 15% tax on my ratting bounties, and in exchange I get reimbursed for pvp losses, access to the best ratting space in new eden, a JB and infrastructue network that makes my life easier, and capital ship subsidies..... that's a pretty good ******* deal. Much better than a 0% tax and none of the above.

i pay 0% tax on my bounties and i never ever lose pvp ships as i use Sisi to test the very limits of them against every type of ship fielded.

I have everything i want and need. I have so much isk i dont know what to do with it. i made 700 million (5/10) inside an hour this morning which allows me to troll the forums for the rest of the day.

Much better than the 15% tax and all of the above
