ThinG is to train for perfect destroyer alone would not take you that long a time to l5 up the main skills and l4 up the support skills and with that in mind, in a 1v1 we would not be that far apart and one module difference can and still does make for one of the best rock paper scicors games going, even now a couple of modules would tip things in your favour, out of box always has its day.

With that remember, SP points are not important when you can only use so many skills at any one time, its about having fun and remember in a detroyer 1v1 my clone will be much more costly compared to yours, as I'm carry so many baggage SP's every ship I fly as I can't fly them all. I will suggest strongly though you have a seperate char (alt/2nd account/dual training) for industry aspects of the game, even a PVPer needs ships and ammo, so better to have your isk income non dependant upon PVP isk (many avenues there). Can then train up that industry char as a scout, if not another alt, you have 3 char slots per account so have fun with them all.

Ahhhh the early days, I miss those christmas morning like moments of the early days and skill training, cherish them.

What is the most skills you can utilise at once on any ship - clue - the answear is a lot less than your total l5 skills ;).

At 178 level 5 skills and counting. I have been working more on completing entire skill categories than anything else.

There are now 90 pilots that qualify for this one.

At the moment I'm working on getting all weapon spec to 5, then BLOPs. By the end of my current skillplan I should have around 240 level 5's without touching capitals. Hopefully there will be some more tasty skills by then. Bear

Well,

I am also officially in 200 lvl5 skill club since yesterday :) and strangely I am ranked 42 on eveboard although there are much much better skilled characters out there.

I must say that I skilled all the things I wanted on this char already and that now I am just adding new skills I would probably never use.... Can you imagine that I am adding mining skills for the first time after I reached 180 mil SP... crazy? wasted skills? haha I do not care!

It is somehow disturbing how eve could be played through skill-sheet :)

That's what happends when skills aimed for the old farts of the game haven't been released in a long time...One ends up training stuff to keep the char busy, and not because he/she needs it in game.
