was the node reinforced ? cause it seemed very laggy for me

also i understand a bit more the issue about supercap when i my friend on rifter being killed by a nyx...

so as they did it, they had to reimburse the accidental losses.

Im no mail whore, but would appreciate your missing mails being posted CCP. As I know certain members of the public fleet will have them and no clue on how to post.

Looked like it was a great event, sorry I missed it for the most part. Couple questions though, why the need to add those plex to your cargo holds? Nice infusion of extra billions and billions of isk in the economy that we didnt really need. Second, would this be a good time to spark up the old "keep supers out of low sec" debate again?? Lol (which I think they should not be allowed in low sec for the record)

I also don't understand how ISK faucets and sinks work.

The node was reinforced and was doing very well, rarely shooting past 90% load with around 1000 in system. Add to that the fact that "Crimewatch", the system that checks aggression events, is active in low-sec which makes fights there heavier to run than 0.0 systems where most fights of this scale usually take place.

Members of our own fleet reported feeling no real lag once they turned off brackets for wrecks and drones.

The PLEX were just there to make it a little more exciting and to add loot grabbers to the mayhem that was already there. We also wanted to leave a little something behind to compensate for all the damage we caused. We knew around half the PLEX would drop and that the number wouldn't be high enough to cause any real influence on markets or anything.

The PLEX weren't by any means the main part of what was fun about this event I think. Just there to add a little spice to it. Whether we'll have PLEX in the future is just one of the items to go over before we do this again.

I was in the Jita defence fleet that formed up. One of our FCs wrote up a great after-action report here

All in all, a great time. Lag was plenty present, but the game never became unresponsive. Everything just took a long time. I'm not sure I could have saved my ships after they were primary-ed, but I didn't feel cheated out of them. Good stuff.

One feature I'd request going forward is the ability to have people join fleets with any standing. One issue we ran into with the Jita fleet was that we were limited to invites; the fleet finder functionality did not help us in any way. There were many instances were we needed coordination and shuffling among the various wing and squad commanders to invite people into open slots. Being able to simply set the fleet to have people join it would have been incredibly useful, but we wee limited to "excellent" or "good" standing. Hard to do for a really ad-hoc fleet. A setting where maybe people could join who were in a certain jump radius, or in a channel, or just plain open, would have been great.

Thanks for the fun, and hope to do some more of these in the future.

It's a common viewpoint in many quarters that there's too may supers washing around EVE, sounds like a great way to get started reducing those numbers to me :P

It was fun, I podded CCP Choloepus Twisted but then was one shotted by a PL titan Cry

I think you should do these unannounced and just turn up to big alliance staging systems, it wuld be interesting to see how well CCP does in similar sized fleet vs fleet battle and not just an 800 man free for all Lol

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
