You asked for a 1-v-1 after you started a fight with a known pirate, surely he will respect that...
You made a mistake, this doesn't make the other party weak or without honor.

blame yourself for this foolish mistake and go on without trying to ruin the reputation of one of couple "honorable" pirate corps out there.

Hi Jin, I'm a Tusker Director. If you feel you have been wronged and one (or more) of us have broken our Code http://www.the-tuskers.info/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=63 (e.g. you requested a 1v1, one of us agreed and then the rest of us warped in) feel free to send me relevant chatlogs and I'll investigate it further.

However, at the moment it seems that you wanted a way out of a tight situation. If this is the case, I suggest asking for a 1v1 before the fight starts. Our pilots will occasionally accept them but always honor them if you're not willing to take on 4 of us at once.

P.S. Might want to carry more than T1 missiles - faction (Caldari) missile do 20% more damage. If you need any more help with your fittings, feel free to contact me ingame or any other Tusker. Best place to start would be our Public Channel - "The Tuskers Public Channel" where we discuss fittings as well as news etc.

So if I'm going to submit a sweeping statement based on a single encounter, I would say all Tuskers are fine pilots and class acts. I like it best when the beats are naked.

Otherwise, feel free to engage things in top belt OMS and then claim that calling for a 1v1 after you're pointed/half dead because other ships landed on grid is a legitimate grievance.

I also had a similar experience with the Tuskers, and I also raged for a few days, albeit mostly to my wife and two poodles. Somehow this poor corp has got the reputation that they *always* fight fair and would never blob or fight at anything more than a disadvantage. Such high and unreasonable expectations, no one could succeed in EVE if they acted that way.

The truth is, and if you did your research and took a peek at their killboard it would be obvious, they fight like any other pirate/FW/null sec corp. Which means, they kill you any way they can.

What sets them apart from the crowd is that they do what they say in-game. Which is pretty damn honorable for a bunch of internet space pirates.

The link is working fine for me. However our forums are going through an upgrade, so that might have caused the issue. Try this link instead.

I am not against giving you 58M (should be less in any case due to insurance) if you can prove that an infraction of our Code occurred via chatlogs etc. Needless to say, if you can prove this, this will not be the only action taken.

As far as I am aware, our pilots warped in to assist their corpmate. Requesting that they not engage is a perfectly valid tactic, but as long as they didn't state that they would abide by it, I see no problem.

We do actually solo a fair bit. You can check this by perusing our killboard.

As for honor, we do not claim we are honorable. Instead, we claim (and have yet to be proven otherwise in this thread) that we follow through with what we say.

Another tip for you: if you want a "fair" fight, I suggest coming to Hevrice and asking for one. We have had a fair few pilots come here to fight us (mostly in frigates) and most of the time we accommodate them if they speak out, often down shipping to give them a "fair" fight.

The link I provided should work. We do not say that we are are honorable as that is subjective. Many people such as yourself would argue that we are not honorable.

However, we do follow through with our word. If you can prove that a Tusker lied to you and not in obvious jest e.g. one of us said he wouldn't shoot you but he died, then we can go somewhere.

Until then, we'll keep going round in circles, with you claiming that we claim we are honorable and me saying that we are not honorable.
