Is anyone else tired of getting tons of these on exploration? Seeing as they are reusable, wouldn't it make more sense to lower the abundance?

Or at the least, take them off of the "valuable items" list when I scan a site.

I am not a fan of anything that is reusable in the game, as it takes away from the economy. I suggest either lowering the amount of drops of all of the data interfaces or keep them abundant but take away their reusability. It's still treated as a valuable item, even though if you check on contracts, people are selling for 10k a pop.

Since people only need one:

Supply should be lowered, as once you get one, you NEVER need another.

OR

Demand should be increased by making them wear out after a while or something.

OR

Change how they are listed in data/relic sites. Even though they are a blueprint, they aren't very valuable. I would rather grab a few salvaged parts than pick up this blueprint.

I generally agree with you there that these BPC are way to abundant in relation to their usefulness. Personally I favor the first suggestion to make them rarer drops. Make them wear off is not favorable.

Also, don't you cargo scan the hackable can and then only collect the good cans?I hardly collect any Data Cans, only in cases where a Ship Data Interface or a Faction BPC is listed in the cargo scan results.

Same here. I get at least one per site and I don't know who is supposed to use all these interfaces.

I'm all in for the reduced drop AND for making them get used up. Maybe similar to faction and T2 laser crystals? Give them a chance to lose some durability with each use so that they need to be replaced at some point.

Even a few years ago, ship interfaces were above 50m.

Its been a long time since invention was introduced.

Reducing drop rate wouldn't be a big deal, so why the heck not?
