HA! Wow! Onino must be more bored of EVE than I am! I guess If you have NOTHING else to do that might be a plan. I don't think you have a real grip on what you're thinking of doing. It makes me feel a little bad for you though. I doubt I'll waste a ship on it but who knows. If you only have 7 mil skill points then I would say you don't know what you're setting yourself up for. I suppose you could run some anoms to help pay for consumables..oh, wait. Provi doesn't have those or much or anything else.

I liked the part where the PL poster said CVA is full of high SP players and acted as though the 4500+ alliance with the 9k+ blues is the underdog.

That part was very funny, a very good troll. Learn from that man.

Once Providence flips fully, which should happen well before the end of the year, only -A- coalition entities will control sov 0.0 that isn't in the hands of the Goon/DRF cartel. The blockade of sov-0.0 by the strongest NIP-fest in EVE's history is almost complete. Once PL finishes with Providence, they'll come up with some troll about why they have to go help the Russians against -A- and crew. The game stagnation will make Florida swamps seem lovely.

7) AlphaCATS and WelpCATS (Fleets consisting of Maelstroms or hurricanes) are the worst fleet doctrine in the game

You think your being smart by saying things that TEST aren't, but they are goon pets and they are attention seeking whores, what other reason would there be to attack Chribba?

The funny part of all this is somebody thought invading Providence would be fun or at least interesting. Nobody puts up a big fight for Provi and why would you? Nobody goes to Provi for thunderdome. That's just stupid. Ask Raiden. or NC. how their pvp experience was in there. Ask Red Alliance or White Noise about the "raging war" in Provi. Who wants to lose a bunch of ships for the worst space in EVE? WIS needs custom t-shirts. "I went to fight in Provi and all I got was this shirt". Big smile

I'm sure all those big alliances have SOME form of intel that might have warned the pilots who went to "invade" Provi. " You will be bored. You will be blue-balled. You will do little more than grind sov.". Should have named this the LOLwar or the WTFwar.

To be fair, it didn't start as a invade provi campaign, we went to shoot Chribba's station, now thats done we're not sure what to actually do with ourselves.

Confirming we used our VAST riches to hire PL so we can curbstomp CVA.

We then used all our blues in our coalition, had a coalition wide deployment to take providence.

We are all high sp characters who had to outnumber the bitter vets of CVA in order to kill their low sp characters.

So let me get this straight...

TEST (Still not clear if they are Goon Pets or the Goons are TEST pets) hire PL to curbstomp CVA so they can take over Providence?

Over all nothing new happend.

CVA, while I like their sandbox, was never a realy strong fighting Ally and they are pritty alone when it comes to blues.

Test has 4 times the numbers (and still need to hire PL? rofl, mega fail) AND 10 times the numbers as blues.

Something new would be, if they decide to attack a even numbered enemy like ... DRF?

But that's EvE. Nobody EVER attack equal or stronger enemys *sig*.
Game of whimpy little girlys with pink pompoms.

Maybe TEST should go and play Hello Kitty.

Why the hell can't I fitt capital repairs or shield booster on an Orca ... it's an CAPITAL ship!

Obviously my sarcasm fell to deaf ears.

We didn't hire PL. They're our friends and we chose to deploy together after having fun kicking brick/mm out of delve together.

EDIT: Who knows what were going to do after the patch hits and *winter* comes. But this is something for us to do in the meantime.

i really don't see what is so special about those ebil dangerous high sp chars!
were you afrid they would come and kill you with industrial skills? "there is slap you with my imba laboratory operation lvl5!"

CVA spent years building providence. you waste some weeks destroying it.
congratulations! want a cookie?

the only point you made is, that there are people who will use a lighter only to burn things down!

What is this talk of all these high SP characters in Provi? They have so many skill points that they don't have a scap fleet? Lol In the end this will be one of those things that's so lame that people will look back at and claim not to have been involved. "A friend of mine was down there but I didn't go myself".

I still say it points to the sad state of the game when this is all there is to do. Something to think about though. What do you do when all of null is set NAP/NIP? There's no more war. No more point to log in then. Maybe an occasional gank but that's it. Since there would be no more conflict ther will be no more market. No market and all of EVE dries up. It dries up and you have no game to play. You may claim that as winning but winning at EVE is to not play at all. That kind of winning is like finishing 12th in a race but you get a trophy anyway because "we're all winners inside". In that scenario it's the players that destroy EVE. Not CCP. They finally moved on the scap nerf but it's already too late to work slowly.

2 things have to happen. A radical nerf of all cap and supercap ships to prevent the kind of I win button that's already happen. Second, the complete destruction and rebuild of the Alliance/set blue/sov mechanic.
