Fit quoted above is pretty standard.

Some replace the cap booster and one sebo with cap rechargers.

Dual heavy capacitor booster is the way to go nowadays.

They help you cap up faster so you can GTFO when your siege cycle ends.

well not really.

"cap escallation" use capacitor rigs, also no cap injectors and usually (well they should) have extra mods in the cargo.

EDIT: yeah and ofc the travel fit being full cap recharge is also not quite the same for combat it is now?

travel will give you the access to station to instanstly cap up (if your doing it right that is) so extra cap mods are irrelevent

capital escalation ...cap rig ? i never seen DnD use that on their fit and they used dreads for everything ^^
sorry but i cant see how cap rig can give you the edge over trimarks (with the occasional burst rig)

never forget: spare mods in your cargo.

full bulkheads, full warp core stabs, full tank, full cap fit. these should always be in your cargo hold along with 60 or so cap charges 800 and then the rest ammo.

This is very important. You also want strong drop and exile for tracking and tank respectively. For 20 mill or so you get either 37.5% more tracking or rep amount respectively. Drop is very important for dunking sub-caps and exile is great during cap fights when you have refitted to full tank and now need to tank a couple dreads until you can get out of siege and recieve triage reps.

This is the tracking dread fit we use; the target painter is really nice for killing battleships when you only have a few dreads on field in addition to your own friendly fleet who want to dedicate their EW for seperate targets. The beauty of capitals is that you are able to change your fit on the fly with the help of a carrier in response to external factors, so it's really only a starting point.

Should also point out with the extra cap the dread has compared to subcaps, definitely go with 1x EANM, 1x reactive hardener instead of 2x EANM unless there is an obscene amount of neuts on the field (in which case you're not likely to live anyways so it's somewhat irrelevant).

there are other uses for dreads than nullsec blobs...
show the above fit to any WH player and they will laugh at that cap booster pretty hard, for example.

Cap escalations in WHs use cap rigs or else you just die.

And if you thing you have stations everywhere is really a sign you never moved a 600man cap fleet over the a large space with 6-7 cynos needed.

What he said. In WH space for escalations you use CCC rigs.

Double EANMs is bad, always go RAH indeed.

No sig.
