PVP - Solo Free for all Tournament

So I have been around for a while and seen several alliance tournaments, it recently got me thinking about the potential for a competition where there is more of a solo feel. I do know that in EVE, collaborating with other players is promoted but then there are also the players who want to go solo as well.

So if we use a solar system as the arena, no docking or jumping out of system allowed (if you do you are disqualified). Maybe 20 or more pilots in a subcap ship of their choice (perhaps using the points system that is used in the alliance tournaments, or maybe a new points system is arranged for the actual ship and fitting?). Last man standing wins, or in the case of a stalemate the pilot with the most kills and/or damage dealt.

This could be done as a single game, or if there are many pilots signing up for this there could be a set of games and a final at the end with the top however many pilots.

Thoughts?

Tournaments and arranged PVP don't belong to EVE. Especially if organized by CCP.

Furthermore, I think that links must be removed from the game.

I was thinking of having a go at making one myself but it would be easier to do with backing from the CCP team for things like monitoring who is where and what kills people have, etc, etc.

Might have a go at sorting something small out to begin with.

Do it like all the others? Drop the arbitrary rules, beg Blink for prizes/news sites for promotion, spam Reddit and go forth.
