Out of Pod Experience

So I'm quitting EVE.

No one has ganked or scammed me. I suppose I have a rather uneventual EVE life because of risk managment.

CCP hasn't made any nerfs or patch changes to make me rage.

I suppose I am just bored. With so many other interesting games out to compete for me time, I have enjoyed EVE lest and less over the past few months. Starbound has been much more entertaining that EVE for me as of late and I play that mostly single player.

Also, especially since the Oculus Rift. EVE doesn't have the immersion that those games do. Oh well. Maybe when Valkyrie comes out I'll enjoy psuedo EVE in the Rift.

I suppose what I am saying is that EVE is stale. I don't know if its dying, but certainly the last two patches have done nothing to increase my gameplay value.

So rather than waste my time grinding isk to keep 3 accounts open, I am just putting in plex in each account in case things get interesting again.

That said, I have my doubts.

What will happen most likley is that I will use one of those plexes to log in next year when Star Citizen comes out while everyone is fleeing the sinking ships to say "I told you so."

Suffice to say I will not miss the other people on the forums. Especially Tippia and Jenna Side. I hope those two contract space herpes.

For those who want my stuff, I am only giving it to serious EVE players. In order to prove to me that you are a serious EVE player, you must first send me at least 100 million isk and I will send double amount back. Anything less than 100 million will not be considered a serious offer and used to give to those who send more than 100 million isk.

Nobody cares.

I am not surprised that boring ISK grinding just to pay for accounts so you can grind more ISK and repeat the whole process is a bit boring.

Just pay for your account and you are free to do whatever you want, like stuff that is actually fun.

I hope you have more fun in this other games. I don't send you ISK to double, I will accept your stuff anyway.

Actually the original observation (by another poster) was that people with enormous faces tend to have the worst time in EVE. So to really test the theory, relying just on data from I Quit threads isn't sufficient. Some people with enormous faces could be having the worst time in EVE, but aren't quitting. Or are quitting without posting I Quit posts. So actually I need to survey people with enormous faces and see how they're doing. If anybody wants to volunteer as a co-surveyor, feel free.

So can I have your ISK as you leave?
