Tuskers - no honor and weak.

I was engaged in a fair 1 vs 1 in old man star tonight against a Tusker, when his buddies jumped in on what was an even fight, drake vs cane (both our shields were at around 50%). I requested 1vs1 in local (yes after the fight started), to which was answered with 5 vs 1, might have been 4 can't remember, but no matter. Consider otherwise before joining this well known corp they don't have any honor.

Not mad I lost, just wished these guys had the cahones to 1 vs 1 when it was requested. guess not, no different they any other pirates i guess. Cheers.

if I was in a gang and if we had been roaming for like a hour and we finally find something to kill and our guy 'hogged' it all to himself, I think everyone would've been pissed off.

That doesn't change the fact that this well known "elite" pvp corp ignored a 1vs1 request. I have read they are elite pvpers, not so much it seems, any old corp can gang up 4 vs 1, that's easy.

shortly before this, they were in Aeschee QQ'ing about ECM and logi being on scan. and apparently my stealth bomber is a bonus loki.

they only engage drakes and canes. if anything else is on scan, they will scatter like cockroaches. its the tusker code.

If they never agreed to give you a 1v1, it's completely honorable of them to not give you a 1v1. Your fault for engaging on the assumption that they would provide you with a 1v1, when you never had their word.

Obviously not, unless you are referring to Killer. Telling someone to move along because the truth is painful, does not make it less true, or you any less of an idiot for thinking you had any "honorable" right to a 1v1 after the fight starts. That's like calling the insurance company and asking them to insure your car after the accident. Hopefully you are "adult" enough to understand that concept.

Everytime I play roulette, I like to wait until after the dealer has waived off all new bets to immediatley place my bet...































And then p!ss and moan about the dealer's lack of honor and the casino's reputation being worthless to the rest of the patrons I'm being 'escorted' by on my new found destination for the immediate future, the curb of the street.

There is no truth denying here, any pain, or declaration of rights. I lost a drake big deal I have lost plenty and will continue to do so. I just stated the facts plain and clear in my first post. I am just saying this "elite" pvp corp can't handle a 1vs1 when asked to do so, I think the timing is a minor point. If I am disappointing you by speaking clearly and without childish name calling then you sir have some issues perhaps you should address with your guidance counsellor, its near the principals office.

We make absolutely no claims about our "eliteness". In fact many of us are terrible. We are also pirates at heart and although we enjoy a good fight we also enjoy ganking the hell out of people. In the future if your looking for a "fair" fight then do it in a system that isn't known as a blob fest.

I will also add that it is against the Tusker code of conduct to accept 1v1 duels. You may get lucky and get one anyway with enough warning if we are bored enough but this is generally an exception to the rule.

Fighting fairly means you're doing something wrong.

Sorry but it needs to be said, as convops pilot Im absolutely against any and all notions of fairness and honour (Its with U, by the way). Actually I think any fight that you commit to so you cant bugger off, but fail to have advantage is foolhardy/stupid.

Ofcourse if you arrange it beforehand with mate to see who can pimp their ride better... Then that changes everything but then its not a fair fight to begin with, its just a set-up. :P

You cannot expect a request for 1v1 to be honored unless you ask before the fight starts.

I've had a number of encounters with The Tuskers, and they were as honorable as you can reliably expect a pirate to be. In fact I've been relatively impressed with a few of their pilots insomuch as they DON'T require 4 to 1 numbers before they undock, a marked improvement over my local pirates.

Sounds like you got yourself ganked, it happens, thow a GF and don't sweat it.

Asking for a 1v1 after the fight starts is a little late. Also, it sounds like they never said they agreed to anything, so you really can't call them dishonorable. You got ganked, deal with it. The only time you can legitimately complain about this is when both parties agree to certain conditions (ie 1v1, 2v2, 5v1 or whatever) and then they are violated. But that didn't happen in this case from the looks of it.
